Just saw his AEW debut on YT, and man he looked like a damn mega star when he came out. Rotten booking on his way out didn’t hurt him at all.

We need more than one pro wrestling company.

WWE is a ton of brilliant talent caught in a place where the ycan't fully express that brilliance. We see it up and down the card from the dudes who can't get on TV but could be stars to Roman at the very top of the card not being allowed to show off who he is and getting booed for what he has to be instead. The only person I think is able to actually express themselves the way they want to is Becky and that comes down so much to just Vince not caring that much about the women. For someone at the level Moxley was at to not be able to show off this much is insane and proof positive of how a lot of the people in WWE who get written off as being bland or not having much personaliuty are probably capable of way more than they're allowed to show.

Guys like Moxley, Owens, Orton, Punk etc don’t belong in a PG company.
It’s really that simple.

WWE's at Critical Mass at this point. Too Many people, Too Much TV (ironically, still not enough to feature and give character/personality development to everyone who appears on TV regularly, and when they DO stumble onto something [Truth admitting that he acts crazy to try to engineer things into going his way], it's forgotten the next week), and a man at the top who for various reasons refuses to let the boat be rocked. HHH wants to expand and turn the company into this self-contained global network of PCs and NXTs, Vince just wants to shovel out TV content as effortlessly and blandly as possible. I don't want WWE to die (all that "Vince is Evil and needs for his company to die so he can see his life's work stripped away from him in front of his eyes" stuff is "meh" to me), but this definitely isn't sustainable.

Think of even years before when they had him do dopey shit like attack I think Seth with mustard and ketchup from a hot dog cart, making him 'wacky'.
That's emblematic of a larger problem with how they write everyone of course, he was just one more victim.

I'm pretty sure he probably told them never call it that again.

WWE should just create a fake Dean Ambrose They could always steal Angelico from AEW and say Ambrose had an accident with a roadroller.

Ambrose wanted to do shit like that while WWE wanted him to do shit like this The audio on that AEW clip was terrible but him grabbing the smoke did nothing for me. Kinda diminished him a bit. He should have taken the ciggarette and put it out on that guys shirt or something.

I feel like the most "Explicit Mox Violence" thing he could have done was lift up Janela's glasses and stick the lit end of the cigarette in his eye.

Also, I'm glad we can pretty much unamiously agree that Dean heel turn sucked. It seemed like a bad idea when it happened and it somehow ended up far more detrimental than I could have imagined. Yeah. I’d love to go back and revisit the reaction as it happened as it seemed obvious then too: This is abysmally bad. And you could tell Dean hated it.

He’s also been able to ditch the really lame name. I’m sure that even if WWE had let him keep it he’d be ditching it for Jon Moxley.

All of those guys showed how damn good they would be when WWE let them. They just didn't let them. PG is nothing to do with it. There was nothing about Moxley's AEW debut that you couldn't have done PG. Or most of that show, for that matter, outside of Dustin's paper cut. I actually had pretty high hopes for it at the time, and now that I watch other promotions actually trying to give fans what they want I wonder what the f*** I was doing.

Two notes form the Jericho interview:
Dean receive a note from Vince saying he "Had to understand why he needs to insult the audience and he shouldnt try to remove lines from the script".
And no surprise,Dean was disgusted by using the Leukemia in the angle.
Dude was pissed of about these things, and still managed to have any news backstage about his mood. When was a wrestler able to keep thing so under wraps?
