Honestly if he didn't voluntarily take an extended leave of absence from professional wrestling, he'd likely be blacklisted from every company out there with a conscience.
He needs professional help, period. No two ways to say it; he doesn't have the capacity to help himself at this point, even if that means committing him to a psych ward while they figure out his mental condition and how to help him control it.

The "We are told that the second Cass was down on the floor, his entire demeanor changed as he went from aggressive and threatening to questioning why he was hit and asking what was going on." is such a red flag that this man needs massive amounts of help. Nobody mentions alcohol anywhere, which leads me to believe it's more dire than that and he wasn't off the wagon so much as he is very much in need of major psychiatric help. Episodes of outburst followed by 'wait what's going on' come up in a lot of mental illnesses, and I spend a fair amount of my time helping out two people who both suffer through them in different ways and from different sources. It's bad, and I think he needs more help straightening himself out than he's yet received. Hopefully he gets it. This isn't the alcohol stuff he struggled with earlier, this is something entirely darker. I'm also concerned with the mention he had shared a locker room with Janela without incident the night prior. For such a quick turnaround, that can't be good.

Therapy, rehab, time to recover and no Enzo.

And this was right near me. Didn't go to the show, obviously. But...seems any time we could have seen Cass something happened (I remember almost going to the HOH show where he collapsed too). I feel extremely lucky to have caught him at a convention after he was released.
But...not important. Say what you will about his work and the craziness he's been involved in, but if he has personal issues, I hope they get resolved. This business' personal issues eat people alive.

Yeah something is wrong with Cass. I really hope he gets the help he needs because this isn't something as simple as someone having an anger issue, there's deeper demons at play here.

Jesus, man. I came here all ready to be like, "What the hell, Cass? I was rooting for you! We were all rooting for you!" But this doesn't sound like just temper and behavioral issues. I hope he gets help, he seemed like he'd been doing so good & level-headed lately.

Yes, it does sound a bit more full on than depression or alcoholism (both nasty blighters in their own right) I'm fearing the seizure (there might have been more than one, Bryan kept his secret) caused some brain damage and alcohol withdrawal symptoms mixed in with it has caused a meltdown. Best case is that this stops him getting booked and forces him to get checked out and treated asap.

Scary stuff. He definitely should thoroughly get himself checked out and as many have mentioned, step away from wrestling for a bit. Hopefully he’s got friends around him cause might be vital to have people around him. Hope the guy gets better. Scary.

Not to sound like a douche, but if the guy is suffering from mental illness which causes him to act agressively and attack others, perhaps it is not such a good idea to book him?

I read in previous interviews that Cass has admitted to having troubles with depression. There were indications that he was working on getting better but judging by this incident he's not better. Maybe this incident will lead to him getting the help he needs and maybe save his life.

Poor Cass and Enzo for that matter,
These 2 only a few years ago had the world at their feet and were massive stars but unfortunately both have had to deal with a lot of issues.
I’m rooting for them both.

As Vince McMahon said to the cops when covering for Superfly Snuka, it's the garbage business. Think about all the promoters who had no qualms booking Snake Roberts and Scott Hall when they were at their lowest, either to get more tickets or possibly in the hopes that something awful would happen and gain them notoriety. Someone's always going to be there to take advantage of anything in pro wrestling. The best thing for Cass would be to get out of the business entirely and get help for whatever issues he's facing.

I honestly just feel bad for the guy. He might need to take a step away from pro wrestling for a while and get some help. Agreed. Not everyone is mentally prepared to handle the stresses that Pro Wrestling brings. This doesn't sound alcohol related, it could be obviously, but it sounds more like his general mental well being, or lackthereof. I'm not a fan of the guy professionally, but personally I concur that he needs to step away from wrestling from a bit and seek the help he needs. I feel bad for everyone involved, esp since it looked like Cass was doing so well. In the end I hope this was just some weird misunderstanding or Cass having a shitty day and he brought it to work when he shouldn't have.

Freakin awful. Hope the big man gets the help he needs. Don't want to hear of him becoming another statistic.
Rooting for you, Cass.

This is pro wrestling. If there's the even minute chance one can make money booking someone, or indeed exploit any kind of buzz around them, then no one cares about their issues, or are smart enough to care.

I like Cass, yeah he's done a lot of stupid shit, but i'm rooting for him. From experience, the stresses of wrestling aren't easy mentally to handle, which was one reason I decided to get out. I hope Cass gets all the help he needs and stays away from wrestling as long as he has to until he's ready to come back.
Rooting for you big man.

This is sad and frightening to read.
Not trying to sound over dramatic, but this sounds like the actions of a man who could be found dead if someone really doesn’t look out for him. I really hope he gets help.

He needs help regardless if it's bi polar or drugs. When you're that big police are more likely to shoot fearing for their lives
