Seems people are finally getting what we were saying over 2 years ago. And Becky outsmarting Liv just proves she's OP. She is smarter than her opponents. Just because she isn't beating them through physical strength doesn't mean she isn't OP. Intelligence is factored into this. If you wanna go further then Becky was talking about being able to outsmart Rhea and Nikki in a handicap match the other day. She said she wouldn't outbrawn them but she'd outsmart them and win. I mean, that's the point of the thread. Speaking for myself, it's been a hard thing to come to grips with. Observing the board, it appears on the surface that the booking that Lynch gets (and others like Reigns or Flair) where they almost always win and rarely look weak is precisely what they want for all the many underutilised talents there are, of which there are too many to list here, based on the outcry whenever those other talents lose and/or look weak. But it's obviously not the case, is it? I think the bit missing there is that Becky getting that booking did gangbusters for months. She had a while even after Charlotte where her being the top dog was super well received, or was rejected only on grounds of really crappy material, like the awkward on-screen Seth pairing and Baron Corbin/Lacey Evans tag feud. The problem is that they never stopped with that booking and didn't slow things down toward an eventual point. She held the title for over a year, handed it off for her maternity leave, and went right back to the top on her very first night back. Even the first post in this thread was over a year into Becky's stagnant rise to the top. If these posts were being made in like May of 2019, I think you'd have a point, but the problem is that we have had non-stop years of this stuff, and Becky has gone from someone fresh on the scene to exactly what she criticized Charlotte for being. You can get superman booking and stay on top, but you can't get years of superman booking and remain the folk hero everyone wanted to seep ushed in the first place. WWE is a company of unflinching, overdrawn status quo, and when somebody simply becomes the new unavoidably boogeyman who's too flat. I know you try to wrap your head around some sort of cohesive narrative with these things, but missing the forest for the trees won't help confuse you less. Like I agree WWE can't be trusted with anything at this point, but there's some pretty vital steps and factors that have been forgotten about. The lesson here maybe shouldn't be "I thought people wanted this booking for their faves", it's that this booking is an unsustainable slog to give one person for an extended period of time no matter how much you cheer for them, and doubly so when it's running three times at once across two shows. Very few people want one person, even their fave, to be booked like this. At least in practice.

Another thing...
The "hey your favs are being booked as monsters" thing has never been good. I don't know about yall but yeah, when I was a kid I liked my favorites running roughshod over everyone because hey, that's what you like as a kid. You always wanna win. As an adult though I don't want that because that's not a compelling story. I want my favorite characters winning, I want my favorite characters losing, I want my favorite characters struggling. I want my favorite characters going through all different sides of the spectrum because that's how I and everyone else is in real life.

Damn near everything I was saying has happened and it wasn’t wit malicious intent but just telling the truth People were blinded by their favorite getting this booking and somehow still thinking she was some type of major underdog. She is without question the top dog even over Charlotte who she has beaten constantly The fact she didn’t drop the title (which she sort of did and Vince didn’t) and won it right back should kill all narrative of her being any type of underdog. I’m all for booking your number one as a number one but calling them out on being isn’t wrong

One OP thread was enough for a lifetime.

Still love Becky, but absolutely hate her booking and character. Both are completely toxic.

One OP thread was enough for a lifetime. Braun was a sad case. He was the biggest winner for the anti Roman fans and I kept trying to say that but folks wasn’t listening. To WWE credit they were able to hide his weaknesses but it came at the cost of the rest of the roster and last thing they needed was another OP person behind Brock and Roman They really f***ed all the momentum he had when Roman left and you could made Braun by having him beat Lesnar but nope he got smoked and limped along until he finally became champ once again due to Roman having to pull out
