The problem with the Fiend is WWE portrays him as a villain. The crowd loves it. It’s very over. Push the thing and make him a face. NOSeth is an example of how they do faces. He needs to be what he is, Himself. He's a badass that is seemingly targeting everyone. It works because he isn't a happy go lucky, Handshaking babyface goof.

Wyatt destroys Seth, but it's a DQ finish. 1. The Fiend continues to look dominant without having to be champ so soon. 2. Seth keeps his reign a big longer. 3. It sets up a rematch at Survivor Series. I like this idea. He brutalizes Seth forcing a DQ this is also how the fiends only loses should come, He gets so violent the match is stopped but he can't be.

Having him openly target legends is done in hope to illicit boos. He doesn’t need to shake hands but he also should not be doing obviously villainous acts.

It's different and he's not being cucked by lame promos by faces after. If they wanted to illicit boos they could easily do so.

The Fiend stuff is exactly the kind of shot in the arm they need. Him as a focal point would be a great move and let Wyatt have creative control to do whatever he wants.

Sometimes you watch something just to see a bad guy do bad things.

I don't think Rollins is gonna beat him, but I don't see The Fiend winning either because WWE aren't cool enough to pull the trigger on the hottest act they have right now.
I'm already over Super Rollins TBH, dude's a dork with a bad attitude to match.

Also when The Fiend appears commentary needs to shut the hell up. I just watched it and having Cole scream "SISTER ABIGAIL!" took me out of it. Some moments are just better without commentary.

The Fiend is not designed/intended ever to become champion.
He is a "monster heel" who is designed forever to be a chaser, to be defeated by the champion du jour. It is definitely jumping the gun to put him in a feud with Rollins so quickly - but there is someone who, though currently absent, can and probably will be shotgunned into both a feud with Wyatt and the main event scene, who will thwart the Fiend and sidetrack him from his quest. And it will all make sense.

To have something so fresh and exciting people care about have to get saddled with the albatross of Taker dragging his way through a match looking old and sad would be depressing

The whole clock tease in the last Funhouse video and some of the other general rumors swirling about Taker wanting to hang it up for real at Survivor Series makes sense. World champ Wyatt retiring Taker and running roughshod till Mania would make it worth it.

This is part of why having him in a title match already is stupid.
Neither the newly minted champion who just got the rub from Lesnar after years of desolation, nor Wyatt, who was destroyed by years of shit booking, can afford to lose this match.
And we know they aren't above having a Cell match end in a no contest...

SOMEONE HAS TO.

Yall know I am always on Seth's side, but yeah I think he needs to drop it to The Fiend here. I keep hearing he and Becky are both headed to Smackdown so I expect both of them to lose in their (hopefully) Hell in the Cell matches

I'm in the camp where it's way too soon for this. If the Fiend wins already it's going to be lame as hell when he's already rolling over for people within a month or two. If you really want the Fiend to succeed, he needs to feed on a feud or two with the likes of Braun or Orton. Guys that are high on a card and have proven they can work well with corny shit.

Also the title really needs to be on the show to gain some credibility and the fiend is something that shouldn't be used constantly on the show.

Who had the Funhouse segment with Baron Corbin last year? Who had a segment on the Edge and Christian Show parodying a kids' show segment? Who has thwarted Bray's efforts in the past, and only lost at Summerslam due to the element of horror and surprise? Who has been entirely absent since then? We may see the Undertaker passing the torch of sorts, but it won't be to Wyatt.
