Don’t try to get everyone over all at the same time cause with such a small roster that’s a recipe for disaster and leads to 50/50 booking. If your gonna push Darby who’s new to the audience don’t have him be dominated by Havoc just have him beat him. When its Havoc’s turn for a push have him win.Moxley should have steamrolled Janela & Spears. Yes! Couldn't believe those matches went so long and that Darby got so little offense in, thankfully the skateboard attack saved him. It's better to have some quicker matches at this stage. Also wtf is up with Cody? He's dressed like the boss but it's not been acknowledged that he is and his last name has gone missing. Maybe ITV cut something.

Darby isn't going to be winning many short matches in decisive fashion. It would actually be counter-intuitive to the story they are telling right now, and he's a natural underdog between his size and skill-set, so if anything, he should be doing a ton of selling and bumping in his matches. The whole point of every match he has had so far is that his opponents have beaten the shit out of him for most of the time, but they can't put him down because he's got an insane pain tolerance due to his skateboarding background. Havoc let him hang around long enough to score the Coffin Drop for the pin, while the guy with the best win-loss record in the company in Cody could only force him to a time limit.

They assume way too much knowledge of their audience.I said it in another thread their doing over a million viewers on TNT but only do between 150K to 300K views on Being The Elite that tells you there’s a ton of new viewers to the product that don’t have any idea what’s going on with these people. Dedicate 3 to 5 minutes a show to familiarize the audience to the talent. We’re going into week 3 and we’ve seen nothing on Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus.Allie should be on TV she’s a pretty girl who was popular in impact and got a ton of TV time.Familiar faces can only help. More Promo’s.The fact that Moxley still hasn’t cut a promo is baffling you only have a few guys that can talk...let them talk. You don’t want AEW to become Jericho and The Land of The Tiny Mute Men. I've really enjoyed both shows, but I couldn't agree more with most of this. It's crazy to me that they've done two episodes and if you're watching to check the show out, you'd have zero idea that A Boy and His Dinosaur exist, they haven't shown Allie at all, and you'd still have no idea what Orange Cassidy's deal is after his lone appearance in a confusing bit that cut away so awkwardly to an unrelated entrance. I do appreciate that they didn't try to cram everyone in on week one (or even two), but these are all people who could get over very quickly with some "coming soon!" appearances to keep new viewers on the hook, especially to help get/keep traction on social media where attention may be fleeting.

Wrestling moves are supposed to hurt, make us believe it.
Finishers should not be kicked out of when the match have been going for 15 minutes. Kicking out is fine when you are relatively fresh, not when you are exhausted.
Keep the 3 man announce team, for once it actually works.

The Women division, give Britt, Bea some mic time to heat up their feud, also sign more female wrestlers like Mercedes, Ivelisse, Priscilla etc.
I like the idea of having Nakazawa as the interviewer for the Joshis.
Give us a bit of a backstory for the unknown young talent, it would help them connect to the crowd like it helped Private Party, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara.

The Jimmy Havoc promo before his match the Darby Allin needed better lighting and a better backdrop, was he living in an abandoned factory or something? I'm guessing because he's the deathmatch guy and the king of the goths, he was in the dark in the basement, makes sense for him. If everyone was down there that'd be ok, but he's the kind of character who'll do that.

commercials during matches On both episodes so far, we've had a moment where they cut to commercial at an appropriate time, yet we got the PiP of what was going on. None of the stuff that was being done was of any consequence d we could have used that PiP commercial later in the show when they had to cut mid-Match.

Every time the camera cuts to Tony Schiavone, he's wearing a different shirt.

They need clear faces and heels. I *think* Moxley is a bad guy, but he just faced another bad guy in Spears, is feuding with Omega, who started out as one of the core heroes but is acting as a tweener, and had a staredown with PAC, who is a clear bad guy (more on that later), and at Fyter Fest, faced Janela who I have no idea which side he is on. Or Jimmy Havoc, for that matter. The tag match for the next Dynamite is bringing up one of the biggest pet peeves I have with WWE, and that is putting guys against each other on TV when they are set to face each other in a marquee PPV match (in this case, Omega and Moxley). It could lead to more of a Moxley/PAC blow-up, but it could also cheapen what should be one of the selling points of Full Gear. To add to the “expect too much knowledge on the viewers part”, MJF cut a heel promo last week and this week came in for the hero’s save of Cody. Not to mention, apparently Cody was a heel the whole time on the Indies save for that one match with Magnus where he won the NWA title because it was All in Cody's face turn came in New Japan during the Bullet Club civil war, and he sided with the Elite faction (the more face of the two) over the OG faction. Granted, he worked heel for the Double or Nothing match against Dustin, but promptly became a face again like, immediately after the match ended with his "I don't need a partner, I need my brother" promo. And he's been a face ever since.
Also I 100% disagree with the people who want only clearly defined faces and heels. I like that AEW's alignments are more ambiguous and fluid compared to how clear-cut everything is in WWE. That's something from New Japan I love, though maybe they could say something on commentary about how their wrestlers are more than just two-dimensional "good guys" and "bad guys" for people not used to that style of booking.

I echo a lot of comments in that they need more onscreen character development. I know who a lot of the folks are, but I pay attention to the wrestling scene.
My mom, on the other hand, is a fan, but only watches what's on TV. She will only watch if Mox is on, because it's the only one she knows...she doesn't know anyone else except as the guy that wrestles good (which is most of the roster).

Like, off the top of my head, Jericho kicked out of the Rite of Passage from Page at Double or Nothing, I think, but other than that, it's pretty uncommon. I guess Darby kicked out of the Meteora, but he was working CIMA's knees a bunch, so I took that to mean he was weakening his knee-based offense.

commercials during matches If you live outside the US you could sign up for the AEW app on FITE. It's $5 a month and the show airs like a ppv. No commercial breaks. If you live in the US you can set up a VPN and still order the service. I have a friend that lives in New York that does this and he said it works perfectly.

Hard to say improve since they didn`t have to chance to do this yet:
But keep track of SUCCESSFUL title defenses instead of days/amount. You can show it in the score card.

Don't make a habit of cluster'f finishes. We've had two shows and two chaotic brawl endings. I hope this coming Wednesday they book something different.

Too much Earl Hebner, not enough Orange Cassidy.
