SmackDown on FS1 did 888,000 viewers with a 0.27 P18-49 demo, ninth on cable for the night.
Yes I know FS1 is further up the dial than USA, but that's a hideous number. That's around 1.5m who were not prepared to follow the show to its temporary home.

Is FS1 in very few homes or what? That’s pretty bad.

For the record, Meltzer and Alvarez were predicting just under 2 million.

I don't know how many cable packages actually include FS1 or not but regardless...yikes.

Actually lower than AEW this week, especially in 18-49.
Backstage Pass did 426,000 so less than half stuck around for it.
FS1 is in about as many homes as USA so really this feels pretty disastrous, especially with how they loaded up the show with big names.

The FOX deal while a good short term move (and Odin bless Vince and HHH for snowballing them into that deal), but is ultimately going to really damage the WWE brand and future negotiating leverage.

Yikes. That’s f***in rough. I expected atleast 1.5 mil.
Any word yet on how yesterday’s SD special did? I have to believe that actually put up a decent number.

how many get that channel anyway? I know I held my breath the first time I heard they were gonna start airing stuff on it, and that channel is WAY up in the 500s for me.

The show sucked anyway, so it deserves the low rating. But, it's Friday night. All shows have low ratings compared to the rest of the week. I didn't stick around for Backstage. I watched Blue Bloods instead. I still have Backstage on my DVR and haven't watched it yet.

As of February 2018, FS1 was in around 83m homes, compared to USA's 91m.

Move Smackdown back to Tuesday nights. Friday night is a death sentence.

I posted this earlier on an unrelated topic, but it works here too. "See, here's the pulse. And this is your finger, far away from the pulse, jammed straight up your ass."

I think what this speaks to more than anything is just how many WWE viewers are watching solely out of habit. They pushed this show hard and loaded it with names, and FS1 is pretty widely available, but still people just couldn't be assed to go even slightly out of their way to watch the show.

What's special about November 8th? I think that's a month in. Also Friday is the day after Crown Jewel, so I think they'll be shorthanded.

XFINITY, Dish, Verizon and At&T are the biggest cable operators in the US. They all have Fox Sports 1, so you're covering probably 95% of the population that has cable. It's a horrendous number.
