Alien Ant Farm's original songs are f***ing majestic. "Smooth Criminal" was fun within the context of the ANThology album, but it being the only song from them anybody wanted to hear has ruined it for me. TruANT was also incredible. They deserved better.

Madonna's version of "American Pie" is better than Don McLean's.
Also, Madge's music video is powerful and surprisingly diverse for Y2K.

Never gonna give you up is actually a good song and I like listening to it other than just because the meme it spawned.

I could never get into The Clash. I don't hate them or anything, I was just never particularly moved by anything of theirs I heard.

The Bled, at least on the first two albums, were an exceptional metal core band with great lyrics that should have been a mainstream act.
Instead some of the members went on to be a part of "funny or die". Kinda metal.

It might not be cool to say but Justin Bieber has a lot of good songs. He's hit that plateau where it's like "..... maybe I don't like you, but you are very talented. add to the Spotify but not mention."

Dave Brockie of Gwar was an absolutely amazing vocalist for music in general. He's just as talented as any other rock vocalist you could name, but people will never admit it because he was in a band with rubber costumes and gross humor.

Insane Clown Posse are a lot better than people think.
Megadeth has a maximum of two good songs.
Journey is terrible.
Liquid Swords by GZA is the best hip hop album of all time.
Tim Alexander is Primus' best drummer.
RHCP are overrated.
Everything on the top 40 list sucks.
Post Malone is the worst shit I've ever heard.
Danny Carey is the best drummer in the world.
Trap rap is killing hip hop.
Aveneged Sevenfold is amazing if you get rid of the lead singer.
Primus is the best 3 piece band of all time, even better than Rush, and I say that as a Rush fan.
The Beatles suck ass.
Blink 182 is good when Tom isn't singing.

I think Closer is such a terrible song to the point it completely prevents me from even bothering to listen to anything else by NIN.
Black Hole Sun is also a garbage song. So droning and boring.

-Darkthrone's crust punk influenced period is their best work.
-Meshuggah are great but sadly they inspired one of the worst movements in metal history. thanks to them, anyone can play whatever out of time/off key nonsense they want and say "hey we're Djent".
-Mark Kozelek is basically just a real version of that Family Guy bit where Randy Newman just sings about whatever he sees these days. not that it's bad or anything (Benji is a masterpiece) but its true.
-David Bowie's first album that he was so deeply embarrassed about is actually a pretty fun folk rock album. obviously not his best or anything, but nothing to be ashamed of, either.

Liquid Swords by GZA is the best hip hop album of all time. I don't know how "unpopular" this one would be. Arguments over which album is "THE best" of any genre aside, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone saying Liquid Swords isn't a classic album. I've got it just slightly behind Enter the Wu-Tang as the best group/solo album Wu-Tang ever did.

It might not be cool to say but Justin Bieber has a lot of good songs. Not a die-hard fan, but "No Brainer", "Sorry", "You Smile" and particuarly "Cold Water" are all catchy.
