Dean Ambrose took his ball and went home. He definitely didn't do everything he was asked to do and appeared at every required date to fulfill his agreed upon contract. That rat bastard took his ball and went home and now he's working for another company that's definitely not competition but is actively trying to make sure that poor little baby Seth Rollins doesn't have anywhere to work and he's gonna starve to death. Eh..It's more Seth's revisionist history than WWE's. I don't think they ever mentioned Dean after the Shield sendoff. Heck, WWE censored out his name being said in a recent video listing memorable debuts in the 2010s.

They haven't ever written her out or anything but WWE has really minimized Chyna's importance to DX. I can understand why to a degree but it's also sort of irritating.

Us and the Blog of Doom came up with this topic the same day...weird... Welllll.... Warrior not returning to WWE? He was a nutcase and never really over and etc. etc. (I mean, that DVD wasn't totally wrong, but still petty) Warrior making nice with WWE? He was one of the key figures of the 80s boom and a posthumous hero. (and WWE has this problem in general, as it honors people for their kayfabe characters and accomplishments, not so much who they were as people) YMMV, but "93,173" WrestleMania 7 was moved because of a bomb scare. This one is understandable, but....Benwho? And I STILL want to know if Dean Malenko really said, post-2007, that the "three Radicalz joined WWE in 2000, etc etc"? Some more (I am simultaneously writing here, then C-and-Ping to the BOD version) Ironically, anything pre-2002 being "WWE". And I'm sure the stars of the '60s and '70s love being called sports entertainers. The ending to Royal Rumble '92 in its free TV form. Would the heat machine in general count? Shoot, during the Hulkamania era where EVERYONE started from the beginning. If you were lucky, maybe Gorilla would call you a ring veteran with a load of credentials. But won several titles in another company? Forget it. And don't get me started on people who got completely new characters. Mae Young, a comic relief character for most of the 2000s till the end of her life, is a legacy figure for the women's tournament. (YMMV again, as the former is what most people who started watching wrestling by the 90s may remember her as.) I think with Mae it's more a retrospective appreciation of what she did in her early days. She was a pioneer and unlike Moolah isn't a problematic elephant in the room.

The thing is, I don't even think she meant to imply he was a diddler. I think she was making fun of his genitals. But man, that phrasing she used...

Not WWE, but Eric Bischoff saying he did everything he could from the beginning to make WCW a product different from WWF, including making it cater to an older demographic with realistic angles.
WCW for two years under him was stale Hogan and his shitty friends doing cartoonish nonsense. Only once the nWo started did they start to do anything different from the WWF, other than Nitro being live.

Bischoff said his plan to make WCW more real compared to the WWF started when Turner ordered the creation of Nitro.

Andre the Giant was never slammed until his WM3 match with Hogan.
(Magazines pull up pictures of his matches against Hulk in 1980, many of which Hulk would do the "slam Andre/hold his back" bit.)

Remember when they had Cena act like CM Punk was being a cowardly champion for all of his run when he was the complete opposite?

I mean to be fair, she did accuse triple H of child molestation She also made a porn movie mocking Vince, H, Steph etc.. So, between that and the above allegations, one can see why the WWE was less than eager to give her any attention

Stephanie's comments about the steroid trial on the 9/11 Tribute SmackDown!, making it seem like the government were just a bunch of bad men unfairly targeting her daddy.

While Mae Young may have been a pioneer in women's wrestling in the 1940's, she certainly isn't guilt free. www.sportskeeda.com/wwe/5-things-you-might-not-know-about-mae-young/3Also, wasn't she Moolah's right-hand woman in all the shady things she's done? Either way, I do give Mae props for taking that Bubbabomb through a table at her advanced age, as well as all the other bumps she took during her WWF/E run.

Very minor one but I remember Cole saying that The Nexus won at Summerslam on a random Raw one time

The way they always go on about how Triple H was totally buried for the Curtain Call and had to claw his way back to the top. Any time they mention it in any documentary they always use footage of him in the hog pen match as if that's an example of the humiliation he had to go through. Even though in reality the hog pen match was about 6 months before the curtain call even happened and his big "burial" bascially amounted to them delaying him winning KOTR by a year and jobbing to Jake Roberts clean on a RAW. The curtain call happened in May and by September he was feuding with Mr Perfect and by October he was IC champion, back when that was still a huge deal, and he's been booked super strong ever since. As a fan who was watching back then, they've shown and mentioned it so much, I didn't even remember the hog pen match happened beforehand, so they had even convinced me.

This is a topic my bff and I discuss frequently. The most recent revision I saw was on the last Raw I watched which was the night after HIAC 2019. I watched specifically to see how WWE would handle the fallout from the HIAC main event. Apparantly the live crowd was in awe of the brutality they witnessed during that match. Not quite how anybody else saw it but that was what WWE went with. I thought that may be a whole new record for revising history. Just 24 hours later.

No, but seriously Chyna accused HHH of what???!!!! And why???!!!

Degeneration-X single-handedly destroyed the evil WCW empire with a tank... Ever notice how they don't ever mention DX's lame shtick after that, such as realizing WCW was based from an industrial park and not a big building with giant letters, so they went to the CNN food court and later "blew CNN up" with direct to video graphics? This led to Triple H engaging in a stock footage adventure that resulted in him dropping a shit missile on Evansville. They did the one bit with the tank and left it there. It's funny how they never mention that time HHH was in the COCKpit. Along with several other lame dick jokes while "flying a jet".

This is the first one that always comes to mind. HHH "learning to eat shit and enjoy the taste." The Hog Pen match was 5 months prior to the curtain call. And yes, HHH WON THE MATCH!
