I had no idea WWE were currently giving Ambrose / Moxley the Benoit treatment. Sad and petty but that's WWE in a nutshell. I guessing stealing food off of his friend's table is just as bad an offense as murder-suicide in WWE's eyes. With all due respect, it's cases like this, where I roll my eyes at WWE hate. I hope you can understand where I'm coming from when I say WWE never highlights anyone that works for respectable competition. They did it with Hogan and Savage during the Monday Night War. It's not anything new. And I really don't think the "food off the table line" is anything to get to worked up over. It's a funny meme sure, but it was an analogy to indicate that he works on the other side. Nothing more or less imo. Don't think he meant it literally. But seriously though, I really don't like comparing this to Benoit. That seems a little over the top. After all Dean DID get a network special of a house show just because it was his last match.

I hope you can understand that it’s hard to distinguish what’s a joke these days.

I think with Mae it's more a retrospective appreciation of what she did in her early days. She was a pioneer and unlike Moolah isn't a problematic elephant in the room. While Mae Young may have been a pioneer in women's wrestling in the 1940's, she certainly isn't guilt free. www.sportskeeda.com/wwe/5-things-you-might-not-know-about-mae-young/3Also, wasn't she Moolah's right-hand woman in all the shady things she's done? Either way, I do give Mae props for taking that Bubbabomb through a table at her advanced age, as well as all the other bumps she took during her WWF/E run. Well like I say, we need a Ouija with truth serum to ever know for sure. Let's face it, it's hard to pick a legacy woman that at least some people will find fault in, either rightfully so or otherwise. Moreso that the other legacy figures never worked for (W)WWF/E.

Reviving the thread to mention...
Post-Megapowers exploding, when Hulk Hogan and Bad News Brown had a match on SNME, the story became Randy Savage never bothered standing up to Bad News Brown for the things he said about Elizabeth, so it was up to Hogan to defend Liz's honor.
