I’m reading about the Ruthless Aggression doc on the network and how they don’t mentioned the lawsuit with the World Wildlife Fund and make it look like like the name change from WWF to WWE was their brilliant idea.
I’m aware I’m having a problem with a made up story to go with a predetermined sport, but is anyone else bothered by this?
I picture Vince gloating like he robbed a bank and got away with it.
Lying in a doc is the least of his crimes I know, but this really bugs me.
While we’re on topic, what are some of your favorite Vince fables and what are the facts for those who might not know?

Whenever they talk about Daniel Bryan’s run through to WM30 always being the plan. It might have been in March 2014, it f***ing for sure wasn’t in August 2013 or January 2014. That said, I still think they may have shifted things even if CM Punk hadn’t left, because the Batista backlash wasn’t going away.

I mentioned this in RA thread, but they really just said the new name itself was Vince's idea, which it was, and the WWE name was put over, which is subjective because some people like it and some don't. The lawsuit was not mentioned, but no one claimed they voluntarily changed the name, either.

It bothered me too. I had to rewind it to make sure I heard it right. Its something small yet it really bugged me for some reason.

Not Vince, but remember Stephanie saying she was like 12 in 1999 during the Broke Big Show angle?

I don't mind it when they do it on the scripted shows. The whole show is a false narrative so fine, have your fun. But yeah, straight up deceiving people in what is supposed to be an informative documentary? That sucks. WWE certainly aren't the only ones to have done it, but they certainly do it with an impressive level of regularity.

WCW was this big evil corporation trying to run Vince's plucky little mom-and-pop company out of business and starve his family.

Completely erasing AJ Lee from the womens revolution pages and giving credits to Steph
Or Cole saying on air" Some people say Nikki Bella is the reason the womens revolution started".
So much bullshit.
Sometimes WWE doesn't even wait a day or a second
"Look at the crowd chanting Lets Go Sheamus!"

This comes up in many threads but Stone Cold taking off like a rocket immediately after KOTR ‘96 and the company being completely behind Austin right then as their next star

Us and the Blog of Doom came up with this topic the same day...weird...
Welllll....
Warrior not returning to WWE? He was a nutcase and never really over and etc. etc. (I mean, that DVD wasn't totally wrong, but still petty) Warrior making nice with WWE? He was one of the key figures of the 80s boom and a posthumous hero. (and WWE has this problem in general, as it honors people for their kayfabe characters and accomplishments, not so much who they were as people)
YMMV, but "93,173"
WrestleMania 7 was moved because of a bomb scare.
This one is understandable, but....Benwho? And I STILL want to know if Dean Malenko really said, post-2007, that the "three Radicalz joined WWE in 2000, etc etc"?
