Personal note, i follow this guy on YouTube, he does this with many tv shows, movies, etc. I find it him very funny. Just fyi, he is playing two different people, usually a writer presenting a show to studio exec:

Generation Films debunks the documentary. I still think that Carole is innocent and the adoration of Joe is just a fad that will pass. I kind of wish they had buried that hatchet. Perhaps Joe would not be in jail.

Generation Films debunks the documentary. For me, I'm starting to think she didn't. The whole "Joe himself threatened to feed his own first husband to a tiger" thing is kinda telling. I mean it's very likely that at most she's guilty of being a prick to her dead husbands family, which isn't really against the law. It's just shitty.

Perhaps Joe would not be in jail. Honestly if nothing else I found Carole To be a huge hypocrite throughout the documentary and just as scummy as everybody else in the documentary. But Joe did get set up as well. Now granted he probably should have gone to jail for something else since the feds had been tracking him for a few years. That being said I think most people just believe everybody in the show is awful

I'm leaning towards her first husband being a drug dealer who was either taken out or had to disappear for some reason, she got the money to keep it all quiet.

Generation Films debunks the documentary. It doesn't change that she's still a scummy person that does the exact same things the other people do with this guise of acting like she's better than them, who tries to get a law passed to close places like that except hers? A shithead that's who.

I doubt she actually fed him to tigers or anything, but I firmly believe she knows way more about his disappearance than she's told.

Yeah, on further reflection I'm in the camp of "No murder but she's knows more than she's letting on."
I mean people seem to forget that Don was/is a f***ing asshole himself. Cheating on his wife, burying his wealth and breeding wild cats for profit. He was into some shady shit and wanted to disappear.

I think the biggest question mark for me is the whole her brother is a cop thing. She does say she doesn't know him that well, and her family sounds pretty f***ed up judging by the rape bit, but I dunno, that seems sketchy.

Yea, pretty much this She might not have fed him to a Tiger but she still might have something to do with his killing/disappearance Either way, she is just as shady and dirty as the rest of them at the bare minimum

The thing with her family is it seems they rather bury stuff under the floor as opposed to dealing with it So if something did happen to her husband, the family I think would want to cover it up as opposed to actually bringing things to life. Him talking about he goes and flies overseas a lot had me thinking he dealing with drugs or some shit

Netflix releasing a follow up special... This weekend: Hosted by Joel McHale featuring interviews with several people involved in the show. So the follow-up episode is likely going to feature... - Interviews with secondary characters about how famous they've become since "Tiger King" aired on Netflix. - Interviews with secondary characters about all the things "Tiger King" got wrong or misconstrued about them. - Joel McHale's desperate attempts at comedy. Yeah, Netflix really should've left this one at seven episodes.
