Dunmer I see as having more of a South Asian influence than Judean (with the Ashlander tribes being more Mongol/Turkic). Especially in the Tribunal's similarities to Hinduism (I mean, Vivec alone). But then you also have the crazy wizards living in giant mushroom towers, giant insects that act as public transportation, and all the political intrigue between the Great Houses and navigating favor with the Tribunal Temple, except for above mentioned mushroom wizards who give no f***s. (I'm kind of a Dunmer stan if you couldn't tell; goes with Morrowind being my first Elder Scrolls game) I also really like Bosmer culture with the Green Pact and how that's adhered to. Those vicious little cannibal gremlins are so endearing.
Another thing I really appreciate about Elder Scrolls, especially ESO is how effortless its inclusion of different sexual and gender identities is. Like, other games go out of their way to show off their LGBTQ+ characters and put a spotlight on them in a way that makes it feel like they're being exhibited, or go the Blizzard route and have their gay characters not even shown as gay in their actual games *cough*Tracer, Soldier-76*cough*. But in ESO, there's so many NPC's that are queer or have same-sex partners and the game world treats them just like they treat their straight characters. In in-game lore, Vivec is genderfluid and pansexual. There's also a really touching sidequest chain in Summerset revolving around a sister learning her estranged sibling (who abandoned their Sapriarch training in order to become part of a theater troupe) is nonbinary/a trans woman and the two reconciling over her accepting who they truly are.

But why I said Judea is the similarity of Veloth and his followers with Moses and the Exodus. And then you have their names when they were the Chimer, which sounds like ancient Babylonian.

ESO+ is worth it for the crafting bag and the Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood DLC's. Murkmire is also pretty fun for the exploration aspect. Also Argonians aren't really modeled on African Americans. I'd say the closest analogue is Mesoamericans and that's more for the ancient Saxhleel civilization and some of the Murkmire settlements. Modern Argonian civilization in most of Tamriel is pretty much just lizard people with sentient tree-gods. Slavery was also somewhat common during Tamrielic history. It wasn't until the Third Empire was formed that it was banned through most of Tamriel. That said, you don't see it practiced by the mortals that much in ESO as it's forbidden by the three Alliances except for non-Pact prisoners by the Dres. You'll also see it practiced by the Telvanni on Vvardenfell as they aren't part of the Pact, so they'll enslave anyone, even other Dunmer. Anyway, one of my favorite things about ESO and Elder Scrolls in general is how developed each culture is. Yeah, they're inspired by Earth cultures, some more than others, but they all have their unique lore and don't lean into lazy stereotypes like other games' fantasy races. (*cough*worldofwarcraft*cough*) Another thing I love about ESO is it's voice cast. Some of the more famous names on that list: Kate Beckinsale - Queen Ayrenn Alfred Molina - Abnur Tharn Malcolm McDowell - Molag Bal Jennifer Hale - Lyris Titanborn Michael Gambon - The Prophet Lynda Carter - Azura Bill Nighy - High King Emeric John Cleese - Cadwell Kevin Michael Richardson - Sai Sahan
I KNEW Lyris sounded familiar! FemShep! And I was just finishing liberating her (and slowly starting to swoon for the half Giant, I have a thing for strong women, don’t judge) and was also trying to figure why The Prophet reminded me of Dumbledore. The other voices I haven’t heard as much yet, so we will get there. Had another tough choice - capture an army of the dead or free them. I chose liberation but it resulted in a mass Argonian suicide pact to free the land. That one actually hit more than saving the fort for some reason. Maybe it was I was still questing in the area and could hear it raining the entire time. So... saved the fort, beat the army by helping an elf free a demon (oh, I’m sure THAT one won’t come back to bite my a$$!), freed the dead army, uncovered some mystery behind the Five Companions and saved Lyris from Hell... er, Oblivion. Oh and started decorating my cell... er, room in Skyrim. Hoping to eventually find a similar place elsewhere, the commute is not so great. All and all, full but successful day. But what will tomorrow bring? And I’m floored realizing I’ve finished MAYBE the prologue of the story so far! No disrespect to WoW, love that game and lore too, but this? This is another level. The three months is well spent. Upgrade to six in December I expect.

Don't forget to explore, there are quests everywhere. And of course I hope you enjoyed the cliffracer song when you go to steal the bottle in Davon's Watch. I make a point of doing that on every character.

Worm Cult is already showing to be a problem. Have to do something about that.

I make a point of doing that on every character. I heard that! Clever tune that I may not have appreciated at the time! Yesterday was quiet as I was tired. Two Delves, both for the Mages Guild. A Dwarven ruin which yielded a lot of treasure and then to... Oblivion to deal with a Daedric Prince Seshgorath. The name precedes him so I know this is going to be bad news in the long run, especially since I already have Morag Bal out there with my soul. See what I have energy for tonight! Long three day weekend to work at too!

I spent the last few weeks doing the Thieves Guild DLC. It was mostly just tedious. It didn’t have that climactic finale that the Dark Brotherhood DLC did.
And I hit Champion Levels. I’m up to 47.

This may be helpful to some. Any tips for crafting more powerful weapons?

Don't bother maxing out or spending money on weapons until you get to CP160 - as that is the max level in the game. Also, do crafting writs as you get surveys and treasure maps - these are great for building up resources. Always make sure you are learning traits as you go. There are some powerful craftable sets out there that take quite a few traits to be able to craft. We have the Summerset event going on at the moment, you can earn event tickets and Summerset coffers to earn crafting motifs.
You will notice item drops match your level, I use Hack the Minotaur a lot for builds and info. I'll link another one of his vids below.

Next game, they should add all the different sub-types of Khajiit in, including those ones who walk on four legs, or those ones who are like 7 and a half feet tall.

I finished the Summerset DLC today and I liked it much better than the Thieves Guild DLC, although I have no desire to build my character in the Psijic Order tree. Not my style of play. The highlight is Raza-dun, although I never like doing quests with his as much because I’m part of the Ebonheart Pact and I feel like I’m a betrayer.
I started the Stargazers quest line next. I’m not sure how I’ll do because it looks like a lot of it is group oriented and I don’t play that way either.

I just bought the Greymoor expansion and beat (what I assume was) the main quest line of it (King Sovengard) in about eight hours.
Someone please tell me there’s more to it than that. Please tell me there’s someway to unlock another quest line where you go after that lead vampire guy and the Grey whatevertheywerecalleds. What else does this $50’expansion give me?
I did like that the quest with King Sovengard had some supporting characters that were a lot more involved than usual.

I’ve spent so much time exploring the world that when I finally got around to continuing the main story I was so OP that I didn’t break a sweat.
And when I went to do the post-story Cadwells Silver quest (where he sends you to do quests in another alliance territory) I had one small quest to do that I hadn’t done to complete it. It took me all of ten minutes.
Then I went to do the Cadwells Gold quest where he sends you to do quests in the final alliances territory as soon as I accepted it I completed it because I’d already done everything.

Big CP changes coming. Hopefully, overland content might be a bit more challenging. And I found Greymoor to be quite disappointing, apart from antiquities.

I kinda feel like the last and coming-up storylines kind of feel recycled. The Dark Heart might have been more interesting if it wasn't in the exact location Dawnguard was at. And the Gates of Oblivion is dealing with Mehrunes Dagon.....again. Why not another prince, like Boethiah? Since the game is largely non-canon, I say they should try something new. elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Padomaic_OceanApparently, there are these three islands to the east between Tamriel and Akavir. Why not go there?
