I've opted not to reopen the original thread made before the incident aired but rather start a new one. You can discuss this here.
With all said, I am in no mood to coddle the histrionics of some posters who tend to turn their dials to 11 on things like this. Only word of warning on that matter.

From the naked eye it does seem the fault is on Jax kn the steel spot.

There was no room for Kairi to adjust the bump and Nia threw her head/face first into the steps.
I just want Kairi kept the hell away from Nia from her own safety please send her to SD.

That honestly was reckless.
I said it in the original thread, Nia is a power wrestler who doesn't know her own strength, and that's not a good thing. She just all out shoved/threw Kairi face first into those steps. You got to know your strength if you're gonna be doing that. Heck, look at the crowd reaction after that, everybody was in shock, except for Jessamyn, she looked f***ing pissed.
Brock throws people around like they're nothing, but he knows his strength. He knows how to do it safely. Shayna with her MMA training knows her strength in submissions, and with her arm stomp it looks dangerous, but so far she's done it perfectly. Big E is a power guy, and he knows his strength.
With Nia, it just really seems like she doesn't know her own strength, and goes full force with way way too much stuff.

Bryan Alvarez reported that he got a message from someone who was there at the show (he didn't elaborate further if it was a worker, an NXT crowd member or other) that "1000 percent Nia's fault, she needs to be f***ing fired"
Bryan and Meltzer then discuss their thoughts on the spot, with the consensus being they were too close to the stairs and Kari was thrown too fast/hard for her to adjust properly.

Yeah, that text was pretty f***ing stiff (no pun intended)

If not fired, She needs to go back to the PC training, as in below NXT. And have her learn again. She clearly doesn't belong on the main roster on NXT. Not until she learns how to work safe. She never going to get better unless she taught.

I honestly think that I'm more of a fan of Nia than most, I don't really know why apart from a few spots that she's done that I've genuinely thought were cool; but they really shouldn't have called her up as early as they did, maybe if they had kept her in NXT for a while longer and then called her up, she'd actually be good?

I am just baffled that they keep booking this match. Why did WWE think it was a good idea? Asuka needs to beat Nia next weekend and her and Sane need to move on. Maybe even into a feud with each other. Anything that keeps Sane safe or at least safer than she’s had to deal with in recent weeks.

At least she and Asuka will have a good match, since I think they've had good matches whenever they've faced.

OK, to be honest here, this is kinda related, Nia swaggering out with the mask and the Asuka face-paint was pretty cool, she kinda pulled it off and it showed more of her personality.

It just looks like she's never seen a spot where someone's thrown into the steps. That's not at all how you should do it.

There’s something to be said about telegraphing a move. Take your time, set it up and execute.
This could have looked ‘wrestling vicious’, but safe.

Anyone that knows even the sligtest about any form of combat knows of the phrase...controll the head controll the body and in this case Nia grabs Kairi by the back of her head and just carelessly heaves her face first into the steps.
It is 100% on Nia.

I'm teetering in the middle of "Nia needs more seasoning/training/time" vs "Nia's had plenty of training but yet remains too reckless"
Either way at her current success rate I think she's surpassed "it's wrestling, these things happen" and is getting into "She's getting dangerous to work with" territory.

Its obviously clear that Nia doesn't care and is going to legit hurt or possibly cripple someone one of these days with how reckless she is. She doesn't even know the basics of the basics.
Fire her, who cares if The Rock's her cousin. She's a threat to everyone around there.

It was reckless
They were too close to the steps so no margin of error could be made and with how hard Kairi was thrown she got her noggin split. You have to be more careful. I like Nia but that was her fault with her being the one in control

Honestly, the sad thing is we've sort of reached a point where Nia isn't going to get punished for this. Mostly because it feels like the company refused to step in with the incidents before this that stretched back months.
So she'll probably tweet about how hard off she is or make a joke about it or something like that and they'll move on. It shouldn't be the case but it probably will be.

You can ban moves all you want, but if you're not gonna deal with the root of the problem (the unsafe wrestler doing the moves), then it's completely meaningless.
