Yeah, I'm sure punching a dude in the face away from any cameras sure protected his gimmick. Havoc really had a lot of demons man, I hope he has found peace and expelled them, and looks back in disgust at the shit he used to do. For his and everyone elses sake.

Havoc really needs to make a public apology for all of this. He sounds really messed up when all of this went down and I hope he is getting help, but there is no excuse for this type of behaviour.
Issue a sincere apology to everybody that you hurt, and get help if you haven't already.

How I read that statement - There is a big difference between a toxic relationship with 2 consenting adults and grooming, rape and general sexual predator / pest
This is a man in need of therapy
The others are in need of jailtime
Now, I am more than happy to be smartened up about this - but that is how I read it

What he did wasn't right and him having mental issues shouldn't make what he did less awful. I think what he did was terrible and he needs help, but it shouldn't be hand waved at how he victimized his ex.

I think it's a dangerous game to be making excuses for some people while condemning others. Fact is, I have no idea what mental health issues any of these guys have and what part that played in their actions. To some extent it's irrelevant at this point.
Havoc clearly has things he needs to address, atone for and seriously improve upon (not necessarily in public). That's true for most if not all of these guys. Whether they get to do that and be celebrated pro wrestlers is a separate issue, and ultimately for paying fans to decide.
But, 'he committed an unprovoked assault on you to protect his gimmick'... holy shit.

Issue a sincere apology to everybody that you hurt, and get help if you haven't already. If he's getting treatment, I could understand wanting to get some sobriety under his belt before he makes a statement. As seen in this thread people in general seem fairly understanding that this is a guy who isn't well. He can afford to wait.

AEW's probably gonna be conducting investigations into this. The issue is with it being an anonymous source, where can you really go from here? I would hope it isn't true, but if it is, they probably don't have much choice but then to let Havoc go

I tend to be very dubious of third party reports, and anonymous victims. I don’t want to derail the conversation but I encourage people to look up Matt Boermeester’s story. He was kicked out of school based on a third party report of abuse despite the alleged victim herself claiming nothing happened.

He was kicked out of school based on a third party report of abuse despite the alleged victim herself claiming nothing happened. I honestly I do hate the "ALWAYS BELIEVE THE WOMEN" mentality, especially when it's from anonymous sources. Like I want to believe that they're telling the truth because what monsters would lie about this shit? But at the same time, in this day and age of social media, especially during an opened floodgate like this, you have to make sure about what is real and what is not. There was already one allegation from an anonymous source vollied at a wrestler that was deleted. There's just a lot at stake for people to automatically believe one side, it's careers, ivlihoods, and if it turns out to be false well, they've basically had their names set on fire for nothing. If it's true, obviously they can get the f*** out, but I never wanna jump on the "Immediately get rid of them" train until we see more than just one anonymous story. Like with Allie and people backing up her story about Lagana.

From everything I've heard of the guy, he sounds like a mega edgelord at best, an unhinged psychopath at worst.

It sounds like drugs/booze is also a factor. Maybe have DDP and/or Jake keep an eye on him and make sure he stays clean.

Sending Jimmy to rehab is a smart move.

Sending Jimmy to rehab is a smart move. I am seeing people saying this doesn't go far enough and I get that, especially with the rape allegation. But I'd rather have him go to rehab and get more info before letting him go later. I know he's not the victim here, but I worry what could happen if he was let go now and had no incentive to go to rehab.

This is absolutely the right move. You can write SUperbad Squad out as a team for now off last weeks thing. Addressing the issue in a way that doesn't dismiss the victim but also says they are investigating the matters and will evaluate his status with the company when they figure out what is true and what isn't, is the best course of action AEW could take Obviously I hope for the best when it comes to Jimmy bettering himself as a person and the victims like his ex who had to suffer through his worst.

The person who shared it says they have evidence but "It's for the police", well, AEW's going to need to see said evidence as well if it means keeping him with the company or not. We know he absolutely needed help, I don't think anyone was saying he was a victim here, but when it comes to an accusation like that they need to be thorough.
