Going back to the girls kissing thing....
I hated that when I was in high school. The chicks in class would kiss each other on the lips, and grab each other's boobs, just to taunt me and the other guys in the class. Their little "lipstick lesbian" schtick got real old, real quick.
And the thing was, most of the teachers did nothing to discourage this. But one of our football players got sent to the principal's office for smooching his girl in class.

Actually I find it quite rare he actually talks about it... Maybe it's something about the sexual identity threads that draw you? (Not that their is anything wrong with that.)

Certainly nothin' wrong with it. But yeah...I've talked about it here pretty frequently today, and the only other times I ever talk about it are when other people bring it up. That's really it.

Maybe it's just a coincedence. Whenever I see a post about you it's something about this stuff. It's just a pet peeve of mine, kind of like how most black comedians will only talk about being black.

I'm pretty sure it IS a coincidence. Because I damn near never talk about it unless someone asks me a question about it. I don't have a reason to talk about it otherwise. This show just happened to come on and I thought I'd let people know if they were interested, and I thought maybe it could educate some people along the way.

Wow, I'm amazed everyone decided to hold off on Ashley comments here....
I'll just go on record and say, I don't care if she's packing a 10 inch dong.... as long as she looks like that... I'm on board for hitting it.

I've found in my past that once you've made friends with a number of people who are transgendered and you get past the physical clothes thing you begin to realize they are people like anyone else.

I would say that is true. Most people, once you get to talk with them for a little bit, are infact normal people just being who they are.
I caught the rerun of this show and I must say that whatever respect I had for you Dude and what you go through on a daily basis has multiplied 10 fold after watching that. I know I can never fully comprehend what these people have gone through just to be who they truly want to be, but they probably experienced tons of hell, ridicule and other crap to fight through.
I believe ladydark said it best that you need to keep an open mind because you'll never know what shape or size your love of your life or best friend will come in. I know that I'll have tons of acquaintencies in my life, but hardly any friends. Dude, I'm happy to call you my friend from here on in.

That's very true. One of my old roommates was transgendered (FtM), and after a very short while, it didn't occur to me to think of him as anything other than a guy.

sorry i have to side with The ultimate warrior on this one. ...nice to know. 'cept not really. Even if you agree with him, I'm not sure why you'd wanna associate with someone so absolutely crazy. And, aside from this aquamoose cat, you guys are awesome and very supportive. I'm very glad to be a part of this community.

Hey omg-imadude, Barbara Walters is doing a 20/20 show this Friday on children with trans feelings (commercials are really vague, but I think trans feelings is accurate). I am making two of my friends watch it because they have done research in this issue, as have I (although not in the last 6 months as my classes have taken a turn toward other things). I have read a ton on this topic, it is really interesting. Thanks for posting this and starting the thread.

Actually I will chime in and say that omg-imadude probably talks the MOST about this because half the Crappers are constantly telling him how shaggable he is! ;D Don't blame him for being pretty!
