Does it count if both members turn into Jannetty? enzo is still currently lead jannetty out of the two Jannetty the Greater and Jannetty the Lesser is quite the IRL gimmick.

I like how Arn refers to Show as “The Giant” like he’s still stuck in WCW circa 1996. I've heard a ton of people call him The Giant, even people who never worked with him in WCW. Austin, Edge and Christian, and Jericho have all referred to him as such in their podcasts, and I wanna say Bruce Prichard has on a few occasions too.

Now I want a DVD documentary on this whole thing, complete with CFO$ detailing how they came up with their entrance themes. I got good news for you, that already exists at least in the case Enzo's theme.

"Enzoed" should be a term used in wrestling the same way "Munsoned" is used in bowling.

did he get into any other specifics at all about the Cass/Big Show feud? I'm curious exactly what Cass was griping or being uncooperative about it says Big Show was gonna put him over, so I assume he's not bitching about jobbing No specifics at all, this is almost the entirety of the discussion on this particular subject from today's Ask Arn Anything episode. Haven't heard his podcast before, this episode a good place to start?

Haven't heard his podcast before, this episode a good place to start? "Arn" on any ol' podcaster, it's Conrad Thompson's Tuesday show. And yes, this is fine to start wih. Schedule is on alternating weeks where it's a long form topic, then next week is an Ask Arn Anything where he just tells a bunch of stories that Conrad sets up and aggregates questions from fans. Less gimicky than Conrad's other shows, just meat and potatoes here.

Less gimicky than Conrad's other shows, just meat and potatoes here. Arn's is the best by and far, mostly just because Arn doesn't seem interested in taking the bait that Conrad puts out. If you want the most honest look at behind the scenes WWE, Arn's podcast is it. Oh, and I think it's common for wrestlers to refer to each other as whatever gimmick they had when you met them. I think that might have been Arn himself who said that. That could be why Big Show is called The Giant.

I like how Arn refers to Show as “The Giant” like he’s still stuck in WCW circa 1996. Happens with lots of guys in the business, they tend to stick with the gimmick name they met them with. So many people call Mick Foley 'Jack' even though he's been Mankind since 1996.

Think a side thing of Enzo, to add to his other issues, would be the fact Vince loved him. So someone trying to tell him to tone it down likely wouldn’t work because, well, if the boss loves what you’re doing, are you going to listen to the lacky’s advice, even if that lacky is Arn Anderson? I mean, most of us would but most of us aren’t Enzo, thank God. Also likely why Enzo was so quickly suspended and then fired from the company. That love Vince would have for you can only goes so far and when that trust is gone, it’s gone. All speculation on my end, though. Enzo thought he knew better then everyone else and it cost him You were already on thin ice not listening to Arn and others but then your legal issues come up (which you did not tell WWE) and they tell you to lay low and you throw a fit. I think he would still had a job if he just listened and went home and shut his mouth. Of course considering this is him, he probably would been fired later since I doubt he would have learned a lesson

Haven't heard his podcast before, this episode a good place to start? It's the best that Conrad does. The podcast reflects who he is. There's no impressions or many bells and whistles, it's just arn Anderson doing what he's good at. When he says something you listen.

I remembet when Enzo attended some event having photos took with celebs and they all looked either shocked, confused or frightened. Some all at once.

To be fair to Cass, I'd stop listening too if I were stuck in a feud with Big Show. It's not often that anyone comes out of a feud with him not looking like complete shit. Braun would like a word with you.

It makes sense that Cass beating up the midget was the last straw if he repeatedly wouldn't listen to the higher-ups.
That's a weird sentence.

That more less is what I expected to hear. At the time it looked like two dudes drank too much of their own kool aid and pissed away their opportunities. Also, never forget: drank too much of the kool aid you say? #joindarkorder

Not suggesting for a second Enzo and Cass aren't morons, but there's something that rubs me the wrong way about how Anderson phrases this. Instead of just like, "Hey, it's my job to pay attention to xyz; here's what to do about that," he's all talking about how they don't Respect the Veterans Who So Kindly Offer Their Wisdom. He's their boss, but it's still phrased like some kind of locker room hierarchy of The Boys or something.

It’s less about disrespecting veterans as much as disrespecting those assigned to do a job, specifically organizing the matches to suit what creative wants. And yeah, Arn is a veteran but he’s also someone who hears from people above the problems someone has in a match so has to address that to said person. If they don’t listen, that’s not only on the worker themselves (Enzo and Cass for this example) but then your job is under threat because it shows you have no authority as an agent.

Given that one of the final straws for the Casshole was beating up a little person after being explicitly told not to, it doesn't surprise me in the least that it was far from the first time he hadn't done what he was told. Jumping straight to 'this should have got you criminal charges level assault of a minority in the ring' after being a golden boy all along would have been somewhat surprising.

Cass scares me in real life. I know he has mental issues but the guy seems genuinely unhinged and unpredictable. It was the right call to get rid of him.
As for Enzo... I was always a big fan of the guy. Not great in the ring but character wise, he is everything a wrestler should be IMO. Over the top, larger than life, great mic skills and catchphrases... The guy could've been HUGE.

Over the top, larger than life, great mic skills and catchphrases... The guy could've been HUGE. Absolutely. Hell, the guy spent much of his free time in NXT studying old tapes in order to learn his craft, and had notebooks filled with notes for promos. Unfortunately once he got called up his ego took over and, by all accounts, he considered himself the finished article.
