How do you do the Spoiler tags? I wanted to comment on the final episode of Season 4 but don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. It's the emoji at the end. Face with a finger pressed against it.

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I thought Silver had poisoned Kreese for a second there in that last scene. Glad to see Chozen back at the end as Miyagi-Do needs some help.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} The thing that has always struck me is that everyone in the show seemingly takes a psychotic turn and then ends up redeemed
Like we’re supposed to be happy that Hawk won yet a few weeks ago in storytime wise he was breaking into peoples houses and breaking his best friends arm
Kenny is now the one on this path. Tory and Kreese both on path of redemption for Season 5 I presume That board member at the tournament really loved being on the microphone as well huh lol And also I can’t emphasise this enough but it’s kids karate clubs this is all happening over! What is wrong with these people lol

Although he may be annoying at times. I still say Demetri is more Miyagi than any of the students.

Although he may be annoying at times. I still say Demetri is more Miyagi than any of the students. Asked to be left alone in the mall and ran from Cobra Kai to avoid fighting, during the school brawl went to get a teacher to stop it, and ran when Hawk saw him to avoid fighting, and only fought when he had to. In season 3 he was the one that convinced Eagle Fang to work with Miyagi-Do. He forgave Eli fast for what happened, and encouraged him to join Miyagi-Do. Demetri is 100% an embodiment of what Miyagi taught.

Finally finished the season, some random thoughts - {Spoiler}Cheyenne never re-appears, or even gets a mention. I'm genuinely disappointed over that.
The Carrie Underwood appearance makes me now want Hilary Swank to show up playing herself instead of Julie Pierce. Actually no, I still want Julie Pierce to appear.
Johnny's training montage to "Heart's on Fire" was amazing and deserves to win an Emmy. An Emmy for what I'm not sure, but just to play it safe I say give him all the Emmy's.
I'm not particularly thrilled with the ending where Daniel feels he shouldn't have to honor his agreement with Cobra Kai. I think it would've worked better if he made the statement after something like a scene of Tory admitting she found out that Silver paid off the ref.
As for Tory, my theory is still that her father is Dutch.
I'm not sure about Silver bringing in Mike Barnes to help him run Cobra Kai. Barnes was always a hired gun, he had no loyalty or even concern about Silver or Cobra Kai. To Silver Cobra Kai doesn't seem like a personal thing like it did with Johnny and Kreese, but a genuine money-making opportunity. Why jeopardize your checkbook by bringing in someone who in the past has been a loose cannon and doesn't seem to have much to offer?
The problem with Miyagi-Do Karate is that it's designed for combat, not for competition. It (or at least the version Daniel uses) doesn't really work when your goal is to score three points in a tournament. It's like trying to win a football game with only defense. Best defense in the world but, with no offense, the best you can hope for is a 0-0 tie.

Also, why does Thomas Ian Griffith look more like Christopher Walken than Christopher Walken does? I thought he kind of looked like Will Ferrell's character from Eastbound and Down.

I really like her in it, but it always kind of makes me snicker seeing Peyton List playing this vicious badass when she seems really nice in interviews, very much unlike her character. to me, it means she is a pretty damn good actress.

Oh, no doubt, I'm not meaning to take anything away from her, quite the opposite. It's just kind of amusing since I have nieces, and I went from seeing her on Disney shows to beating the shit out of people in a few years' time. Time marches forward, I guess.

It reminds me of Zendaya. Seeing her in the MCU and then watching Euphoria. It's like watching two totally different people. 2 impressive actors that are branching out and then you have someone like Miley Cyrus that hated her image from Disney so much that she has to try so damn hard to be CRAZY and "out there" now.

Finally finished the season. I liked it a lot! This is a really fun show. {Spoiler} I really liked the Eli/Hawk character arc. I didn’t like him going face at the end of last season and didn’t really buy it, but I thought they did a good job wrestling with that and him having to earn trust and be built back up.
On a similar note, I was on Sam’s side most of the season on the Tory stuff. She tried to kill her! More than once! Mom was tripping. But I did think it’s an interesting look at privilege and Amanda reconciling that. I think she keeps helping Tory and maybe her and Sam finally bury the hatchet.
I HATE the Stingray character and could have done without him being back. More annoying than funny, and his neighbor was right. He is a creepy loser for wanting to hang out with high school kids.
Every scene with the committee members was funny as hell. I’d watch a whole episode of it honestly.
The new girl they added to Eagle Fang was cool. Expecting to see more of her later.
Loved Aisha being back. I didn’t like that they wrote her out before.
I’m over Johnny and Daniel switching back between trusting and falling out of trust and back to it. Hope they stay Allie’s this time around, it’s more interesting that way.
I felt conflicted about Kenny. I was rooting for him and Anthony definitely deserved some payback but it went too far.
Crazy prediction that might be a jump the shark moment but…is Johnny Amanda’s half brother? Johnny didn’t really know his father and Amanda mentioned her father having an affair that led to her parents divorce. Might be remembering that wrong though.

Man, Sam LaRusso is one of the most unlikeable characters I’ve seen in a long time. I know right? I mean if you think about it, everything stems back to her, Getting involved in the accident and trying to hide it. Accussing Tori of stealing her moms purse, The whole Robby, Miguel thing. Without the accident, Johnny would have had no reason to go to Larusso and bring him back into his life. Without her kissing Miguel, the school fight wouldn't have happened, Miguel wouldn't have got hurt. Robby wouldn't have gone to Juvie. Sam is the antagonist in lot of the stories. Always having to be right, always having to get her way. Yet I'm supposed to root for her in the finals?

Without her kissing Miguel, the school fight wouldn't have happened, Miguel wouldn't have got hurt. Robby wouldn't have gone to Juvie. sorry, no. if Tory wasn't a psycho, the school fight wouldn't happen. there's a lot of people who get cheated on, but they don't start a gang fight. her boyfriend kissed someone else, so she broke into the school's office, used force to take control the school's intercom, publicly threatened Sam, then repeatedly tried to cause her serious permanent injury...as opposed to, you know, being mad at her boyfriend

But it's the reason the writers decided to give.

I had to change my username.
Stingray went from comical idiot who seemed well intentioned to a freaking psycho. Like, him being at a high school kid party is funny, but him actually throwing a party for high schoolers and giving them alcohol is pathetic.
Love this by the way. Every season feels like its resolving everything and then the last 5 minutes make me want more.
