Ha ah ahahahahah Ha ha ha ha ha Hahaha Ha Of course not! Goddamn WWE really is a cult. More along the lines of the kind of motivation you see coaches gives in sports all the time. But sure, a cult. Aha, you fell into my trap, sports coaches, drill sergeants, ballet teachers, all of them are basically creating cult mentalities as far as I'm concerned anyway! But also yes WWE is definitely a cult regardless of how much I'm joking in the preceding sentence.

I actually never thought it of that way, good take. Plus a rumored Wrestlemania match I’ve read about mean big things for someone mentioned {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Drew McIntyre vs Brock Lesnar vs Keith Lee triple threat I have a bad feeling that that Mania main event will instead be {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER}Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre vs Miz (Or Riddle)

I'm so old that I can remember when Vince was (rightfully) seen as a wrestling genius, and now he's a guy who not only can't see in-ring greatness in Keith Lee, but thinks he specifically needs work. And Lee is actually a guy tailor-made for Vince to love. Whatever grip on reality he had left many years ago.

So Keith Lee in response to being told he can't work the WWE Big Man style and has to train in the PC, does a jumping RVD Spin Kick tonight, and Mace, another one who apparently can't work well enough, won a match.
There are some weird mixed signals being sent here.

If they weren't, it's just a weird conflict of "Wanting these guys to improve and work a more specific style" and then seeing them all perform after the report aside from Dabba Kato, and Omos if you don't count him simply appearing on the show.

I think Helms was right here. He tweeted that just because you're a main event level star and signed to the big leagues, you dont stop drilling, you dont stop training, you dont get lax on the basics. He, and by extension Vince, is likely right. If you dont have the house show schedule keeping you in shape and motivated, then your big guys are probably the first bunch who will get sloppy and slide. Vince has dealt with enough big men to know this is the case. Maybe the new training drills were just that, some extra training drills to keep them in shape and keep them motivated and ready, and not some massive F U to the talent and Vince being crazy....I know, I know, silly Legion being a WWE apologist. It's totally just Vince is mad and actually awful at running things.

I think that's all it is.
No permanent touring schedule and taped shows (allowing for mistakes etc to be edited) could mean even the best workers get lax and need to get back on track so mistakes are not made when things go back to live audiences.
