I know it's Jericho but at some point Khan needs to put his foot down, this is nothing but bad PR, and does nothing but give Jericho bad press Like dude we're finally getting vaccines out, at least wait a couple more months instead of doing this dumb shit. Also why does he always do something stupid right before a guest commentary stint? It's a very concerning pattern. I wont be shocked if Jericho is let go next year since his contract is expiring.

Man, f*** this dude. I really wish I didn't have to see him every week. I'm totally with you on saying "f*** this dude" for doing this. The part of your post that concerns me is your being forced to watch him. Are you being held prisoner by someone who has glued your eyes open and forced you to watch Chris Jericho Clockwork Orange style?

I wont be shocked if Jericho is let go next year since his contract is expiring. Didn't he say he was going to finish his career in WWE? In July, he said the opposite: “It’s not going to happen. I'm really enjoying being in AEW. I loved my time in WWE, I love Vince McMahon, I learned a lot. I had a lot of fun, but listen, you can’t stay in the same place forever. You become stagnant if you do and I think you need to push yourself to do something new. The fact that AEW was live without a net when I first showed up and all of us have done such a great job of promoting this brand and promoting this company.”

I doubt they're ever gonna let Jericho go, I feel he's gonna end his career there, but this year has really shown how much of a headache he can be.

Even with all his dumb stuff in the past year, I'd be really shocked if they didn't offer him a new deal. I can only see him leaving if it's his own choice.

Can't Tony Khan reprimand him for this bullshit?
It's not worth risking covid-19 to see STEEL PANTHER of all the bands. Yuck.

Jericho's only endangering himself and others in his immediate orbit. It's an awful optic and if AEW was live this week with Jericho scheduled for the show, I could see Tony Khan putting his foot down about it. However, by the next time AEW has wrestlers come in to work, Jericho will be past the incubation period where you could have the virus and not have it show up on tests.
But then it's also nothing out of the ordinary for the clown state that is Florida as well as a disturbingly large percentage of the American population who thinks this virus isn't a big deal in spite of over 300,000 related deaths and god knows what sort of long-term health complications for the people who survive. Because freedumz.

He played Sturgis 3 days before before he wrestled Orange Cassidy on Dynamite this summer. TK knew about that and didn’t even acknowledge it.

Outside of places that have actually been cleared like New Zealand and China, who’d be stupid enough knowing what we know to still hold damn concerts at a- Ahh.

He thought he wasn't a star and should be used to put other people over. He didn't see him as a Lesnar or a Goldberg. And Chris proved he had more left in the tank. He has less in the tank now and Vince might have changed his mind now that he's a star elsewhere but he could also want to give him the Sting treatment. Chris is usually a smart guy (wasn't in this case) and he's said many times he was unhappy towards the end of his last run. Anything can change, but I see him sticking with AEW in the long term and eventually moving to a broadcast position full time (hopefully taking over for JR).

At least Dynamite is pre-taped this week, so any risk to other AEW talent is minimal. And the time between this concert and the next live taping is past the 10 day period as recommended by CDC guidelines. So, testing will tell if he has anything or not by the next Dynamite. That said, Jericho continues being a complete schmuck. False negatives are real and can lead to big issues when people are being lax about everything like Jericho.

I haven't heard much of anything about false negatives as a result of test error with the most common types of tests being used, although false positives have been an issue. The problem lies in testing too soon after exposure because the tests can't detect the virus during its initial incubation period.
That said, the period between the concert and the next AEW Dynamite taping is past said incubation period where tests should detect it.
