Not only is the roster dull/old, but the company is as well. The WWE just isn't exciting as a whole anymore or the 'cool' wrestling company. Whether it's Raw, Smackdown, or NXT, it's all horribly written, corny, and outdated. I feel like decent proof of this is the fact that someone like Big Show can leave for AEW and instantly be more exciting/interesting because you know WWE won't be there to f*** with whatever might make him worth watching. It's an outdated company with outdated wrestlers and outdated storylines. Not to turn this into an AEW vs. WWE thing, but I think it's interesting to see how WWE has evolved from the company they were against WCW. WWE was once the company with exciting angles and wrestlers, while WCW (As much as I loved it) was the company that relied way too heavily on goofy angles and old, stale wrestlers. A couple of decades later, WWE is now in the WCW role and AEW has taken WWE's old spot. I’d say the shows are still exciting, except for Raw for some reason (the reason likely being it is 3 hours). Smackdown and NXT are well-written with logical and exciting storylines, fantastic matches, great promos, etc. Quality-wise, I’d probably rank the shows 1- Smackdown, 2a- NXT, 2b- Dynamite , 3-Raw

Yeah for some reason, maybe because the hardcore fanbase is getting older, 40 doesn't seem old anymore. Probably what Vince McMahon thinks. "These workers in their 40s are younger than Shane, and Shane's a young man" Seriously though, in today’s era we look at an AJ Styles, Edge or Randy Orton much differently than we did Hulk Hogan in the 90’s.

Probably because they don't look like a shriveled hot dog.

I mean, we joke about Arn Anderson looking like he was 40 years old since his twenties, but it was like that with a LOT of people back then, looking 10-20 years older than they actually were.

Greg The Hammer Valentine looked like he was at the brink of retirement pretty much since his career started.

See the video I posted of Earthquake on page 2 and try comprehending that being a 27 year old man.
