I know he got pissy and had it changed, but he actually walked out over it? What an idiot. I thought he walked out over it. I could be wrong though, it's been over twenty years. If he did, he came back quickly and became Major Stash, which completely wrecks the pun they were going for.

Going on a racist rant on your secretly recorded sex tape with the wife of a radio DJ has got to be high in the running. That really didn't kill Hogan's career. He was back in WWE in what 3 years.

sit in the crowd at a TNA show while being a highlander? He did an interview afterward saying that he was very unhappy in WWE and that in retrospect it was his way to get fired, so dude had at least an inkling as to what he was doing.

The whole Aries thing was a mess. Worst part is Aries still thinks he came out of it looking good somehow, and that Impact somehow bodged the whole thing.

Going on a racist rant on your secretly recorded sex tape with the wife of a radio DJ has got to be high in the running. I get annoyed when people say it's about saying the N-word. Like, yeah, that's part of it, but what he was actually talking about was not wanting black people in his gene pool, which is like a whole other level of racist and goes way past "just" saying the N-word. (Speaking generally, not objecting at all to how you're framing it)

I'm amazed that everyone was convinced it was a work for months before it came out and nope, Austin Aries really threw a tantrum and tried to ruin their biggest ppv of the year. It was also the same show where Alberto came out and demanded why Borash didn't call him.

Using social media to threaten to shoot any teacher who tells your kids that it's okay to be gay, right as you've finally gotten your foot in the door of the WWE after a decade of graft on the indies.
Having a brother who says the above thing.
I know Jay got a big ROH push, but that speaks to how their management sucks, he killed his chances anywhere else though. His bigotry was an open secret on the indies, much like AJ's, that rant removed all doubt.

Especially when WWE tried to give him chance after chance. They basically had to be dragged kicking and screaming to actually fire the guy, trying to wave off his shit or just demote him until they couldn't really look the other way anymore.

If Drake had been a little more low-key then he would still be there until getting cut for budgetary purposes. If they didn't fire him when he was handing out promotional material for the Proud Boys then they were never going to fire him for his behavior.

Or attending that virtual town hall meeting wearing an NXT polo to spout his brand of bullshit. You know having a WWE-owned logo on screen while upper-management is promoting vaccinations in the name of having the country fit for live touring definitely factored into showing him the door.

Seeing this thread reminded me of someone who was employed by WWE quite a few years ago, to the point where I had to head for the LOLWWE archive and get the entry I wrote for them to post here. Ladies and gentlemen, Amy Zidian. Is that story confirmed by anything? Because Yang's version is a lot more sedate, and you'd think he'd know.

Because Yang's version is a lot more sedate, and you'd think he'd know.It was the Undertaker/JBL/Holly/Benoit led circle of hell era of the WWF lockerroom too, with little infractions getting blown out of all proportion, and people getting fired over nonsense because someone important just didn't like them. It's not entirely surprising that the version of events that happened and the version of events that reached management and the wrestling press which got her fired were two different things.

Jimmy seems to be trying to make Amy look a bit better, like she's just a model who didn't know better. I can't see someone getting fired just for not knowing Vicki, even if this was the wrestler's court era in full force.
