"Yes, Dear" was a much worse show, AND it made it to over 100 episodes. I am very disappointed in you for reminding me of that show and how they would do the same f***ing bit every time for flashback sequences. Seriously, f*** that show and f*** Greg Garcia. I take it you didn't like "My Name is Earl" or "Raising Hope," either. Those shows were a massive improvement over "Yes, Dear" as they were shot on location and used a single camera setup. I have never watched "The Guest Book," though. Also, these two shows may have actually had two seasons, but they really delayed the rest of season 2's episodes for a bit. I'm talking about shows like "Mr. Box Office" and "The First Family." Never heard of them? Don't worry, you didn't miss much. I still wonder why I watched those shows regularly despite acknowledging how bad they were, and yes, they were bad.

Last Man Standing, for obvious reasons.
I'll never understand the appeal of Two And A Half Men, but I will give it credit, it gave Jon Cryer, a guy I genuinely like, a hell of a paycheck for over a decade and fat royalty checks, so I can't be too mad at that.

Last Man Standing, for obvious reasons. Well yeah, and the people (you know what kind) complained they cancelled it for (banned by FAN topics). Yet The Real O'Neals, as liberal as you can get, was canned too that season.

Mr. Pickles went for about four seasons. The animation from a technical standpoint is fine, but the writing is so try-hard hoping to upset the viewer.

I forget if the new Charmed is in its third season.
The original Charmed was really trashy, as well as extremely dysfunctional behind the scenes with the actresses despising one another, but the new one has reached disturbing levels of incompetent over time.

I somehow got it in my head that Small Wonder was a one season bit of fluff that was never renewed.
It lasted 4 seasons; they somehow got close to 100 episodes out of this premise.

What boggles my mind is that there were points when eleven million people watched this crap. On The Buses in the seventies was the same, and pulled huge viewing numbers despite being panned by critics as tawdry and boorish.

Not really watched “On The Buses” seen some clips, and other then the Blakey character.. it looks really awful.. even the canned laughter sounded really unenthusiastic.

Hell On Wheels should've ended in Season 2.

I had never seen it until one Christmas when I saw it by accident, and it was absolutely wretched. The writing encapsulated every bad stereotype of seventies British comedy, and the actors were all trying to outdo each other. My mum once got taken to a recording of it as a teenager and still talks about how awful it was.

Only the first few seasons were actually good, but I am not sure if they would hold up now. As for when it came back, the ones from the mid-2000s actually were decent, but after that, I stopped caring.

Hell On Wheels should've ended in Season 2. It was SO good in those first two seasons and then just kind of existed the rest of the way...... I don't even think I watched the last season (it was split into two parts wasn't it?).

This is going to sound weird but I'm going to say TNG bares mentioning giving how while eventually it was a damn good show, the first season is a dumpster fire and the second while it has some highlights is mostly still pretty damn bad. It's a miracle it stayed on the air long enough to hit its stride.

It's a miracle it stayed on the air long enough to hit its stride. I see where you’re getting at. I think what helped was that it got pretty high ratings, plus being syndicated helps. They didn’t have a network to answer too. As mediocre the first two seasons were, it was still pretty successful from the start. Speaking of syndication. Even though it was canceled in its first season on NBC, Baywatch, in syndication, is the perfect answer to this question. It was on for over 10 years and was legit the most watched show in the world….and it was a huge piece of shit.

Enterprise got 4 seasons. Hey now. Seasons three and four (minus the finale) were pretty darn solid.
