The Newsroom got 3 series, how anyone allowed it to be made after that episode on the plane and Bin Laden death is beyond me. in fact anything Aaron Sorkin made after the west wing was just blah.
Heroes was terrible after the first series but they just kept on going.
also, my wife watches Grey Anatomy and how this show got made/popular baffles me.

Pick any show on TLC. I'll go with "Insert number" Kids and Counting show just for giving legitimate monsters like the Duggars notoriety.

Now, I'm not the target audience, but I will never understand how someone can enjoy The View.
I've seen clips and the hosts seem so unbearable. Yet its got thousands of episodes

How have we got this far without any mention of According To Jim? first reply And the rule that states almost any post beginning with "How have we got this far without mentioning..." will inevitably have missed a post mentioning whatever it suggests remains unbroken.

In general, I liked the show. Well, I generally liked S1, liked the characters for the most part, and liked aspects of the rest. S2 probably needed to have been as long as S1 (they trimmed an episode or 2) in order to flesh out the concepts better. S3 was, well, where the show shit itself. It was the shortest season by far yet felt the longest because it was just not interesting. I remember all of 4 things happening in S3 total, and one of those was just a group of the characters getting together to sing a song at a funeral.

Even before all the extra-serious ugliness regarding the Duggars came out, my response to that show was always, "It's a vagina, not a clown car."

This was my first thought, but I see your MBB and raise you a Citizen Khan. Sometimes you’d have a double bill with either of those or Miranda, another dishonourable mention.

Old ladies and pets? To each their own, though. My dog prefers Rachel Ray. At least Rachel provides cooking lessons. For real, my dog has her favorite shows. Do not interrupt her if Gumball or Mike And Molly is playing. Also, the George Lopez show. Don’t mind his standup, but I don’t think his show ever did it for me.

Now, I'm not the target audience, but I will never understand how someone can enjoy The View. I've seen clips and the hosts seem so unbearable. Yet its got thousands of episodes I live in the UK, and had to look this up to know what it was. So it's the US Equivalent of Loose Women, basically. Also a dreadful show the longevity of which is utterly baffling.

Oz.
The show was great until Season 4, then it began a slow decline.

The correct answer to this thread: Whichever shows particular posters don't like regardless of their critical or financial success. Critical success is the same thing as posters not liking them. No TV show is a financial success, especially ones still airing. The networks make damn sure of that, so they don't have to pay anyone points. I would say that Doctor Who is s financial success considering how much money it makes the BBC.

Yeah, I was talking about the actors and producers making money, the network likely makes it’s share.
