Friendly reminder one of Nia Jax's first WWE appearances was her legit breaking Dana Brooke's collerbone on WWE Breaking Ground in a training session.
Years upon years of this shit and she never got any better. She actively got worse and continues to only joke about it. Can't say people will be shedding a tear.

If someone came with a bucket of money I could see her going back. Question is if/why any promotion would do that.

I’m glad that despite her recent career setbacks, she can still find some humour in injuring her coworkers… Sometimes you got to laugh...at others misfortunes...that you caused. Noooow march

A shame that she didn't care enough about her coworkers not to injure them. A shame that that's the legacy she chose. A shame that she squandered the advantages she had in the business and had so little interest in building on the foundation set for her.
Little of value was lost here, I'm afraid.

...I take it she had no friends amongst the other women wrestlers?
Shit, that probably endeared her to Vince if anything.

“That last match with Nia is funny because it's full circle. My first in NXT as extra talent was against Nia and that spans a five-year difference. From day one to my last day in WWE, she has been so great. Never have I walked away hurt or banged up or feeling like I can't work the next day. I feel the need to defend her from my point of view because I can't say anything negative about her.” - Deonna Purrazzo
Maybe, just maybe, fans are prone to getting an image of someone in their heads that is very black and white and devoid of nuance. Maybe people are prone to thinking something or someone is Good or Bad, and it can't be something a lot more complicated like "a combination of how you were trained and larger size used on smaller, more fragile opponents make it very easy to have a higher percentage of injuries in a sport/performance art where virtually everybody has caused injuries from time to time, and this arguably wasn't treated as seriously as it could be due to some combination of personal issues and spot issues and her own physical limitations and vagaries of fate issues and yes, family connections too but that doesn't mean it wasn't treated seriously at all and we really don't actually know".
Maybe there are a lot of ways that people deal with being relentlessly, nastily harassed and one common way is projecting and leaning into it, owning it, defying its ability to hurt you.
Or maybe Lina Fanene, an otherwise real human being, is a sociopath that hurts women because she didn't care, a very plausible and not at all cartoonish characterisation.

Kinda sucks looking back seeing them hype up a lot of the wrestlers who flopped on the main roster. You do get to see some cool performance centre stuff though.

Honestly good for all parties; she's having mental health issues, her knees are f***ed and she had an awful track record of injuring people.

Make jokes about hurting people instead of protecting them in a match. Stay classy. Go join Ryback and never return.

...I take it she had no friends amongst the other women wrestlers? Shit, that probably endeared her to Vince if anything. Nah, pretty much the opposite. Check her IG posts these past few weeks, they're filled with comments from other women in the company (Alexa, Asuka, Mandy, Carmella, Sonya, Rhea, Zelina, Charlotte, Sasha, Nattie and etc) and outside of the company (Bellas, IIconics/IInspiration and etc) all showing her love. Interestingly enough, she's still one of the most popular women when it comes to how they are with each other from what we can see. Even with the botches against Charlotte, Mandy, Asuka and the rest they still love her.
She just sucks at her job so it's good she's leaving the business. With that said those friendships she's made in the company seem to be real.

Haha it's funny because she's was so bad at what she did that she actively shortened the careers of others and that amuses her her haha! No one has ever been so amused about being a failure. I watched a bit of Total Divas and if what we were being shown was really how they are. There was something about her personality that rubbed me the wrong way.

She's 36 on 2 blown out knees, and being a bigger girl probably doesn't help that.
For comparison, when I was 21 and 85 pounds, ONE blown out knee made me decide to keep the job where I sit down all day.

She was a terrible dangerous wrestler, and it seemed like she was getting worse every week, the wrestling business is better off with her out of it.
It's a miracle she never managed to seriously injure someone, I mean life changing injuries, especially as she seemed determined to hurt poor Kairi Sane every time they faced off.
The fact she's still making jokes about it shows what a moron she is.
