Why would they pin Big E? That just stinks of pettiness, there were three heels in the match. Unless they decide to do a major pivot, Lashley is considered a Babyface now

Network partners don't want one roster. Won't happen. This was the send em home happy finish and they're running with something on the fly. Maybe not but it can easily be sold as you always get all the stars and with their finite income it makes cuts to increase profit easier. That's already been floated around. Networks don't want that. They want their own unique stars so people have a reason to tune into their show. If Roman appeared on RAW every single week, why would people need to watch Smackdown? Or vice versa?

I think changing literally all of your Mania plans on the fly because Roman's potentially out for a few weeks is just not WWE's style nor do they need to do it. . You kidding? The same WWE that can’t even finalize a TV script before air time? The same that called an audible DURING the main event of Wrestlemania 34 to have Lesnar pin Roman? If anything, this is PRECISELY in modern-day WWE’s wheelhouse!

I wonder if they’re now pivoting to unifying the titles. This please!

If anything, this is PRECISELY in modern-day WWE’s wheelhouse! It took the fans going nuts and CM Punk leaving for them to pivot off Batista/Orton at Mania. They definitely have a lot of chaos, but when they have a Mania main event in mind, it takes *a lot* to get them to change it.

I have to assume Brock/Roman is still the Mania direction. They literally have taken up like four months of TV building to whatever their epilogue is. They have to finish that.

The end point of this though is they took a big shit on Big E his entire reign was crap...it's like in big flashing letters they said "this guy isn't a maineventer"

That's probably gonna be the Raw main event at WM.

I don’t know how they do it. A babyface on one of the best babyface runs of his career up to 20 minutes ago wins the belt and it still ends up pissing people off because he pinned the other babyface to do it, who also happens to be African-American, so it brings the race issue into it.

So Brock won? Not surprised with the trash booking decision. Glad I didn't watch tho. Pinned Big E and everything. Yeah figured they'd do something like that. Given apparently they had plans setting up WM for Reigns/Lesnar/Heyman tonight according to reports and we got this after Roman got Covid, im assuming they're unifying the belts.

I wonder if they’re now pivoting to unifying the titles. This would probably one of the worst things they could do. So ... maybe

I could see Brock/Lashley being at the Rumble.
Granted that would be two Brock matches in a month >_>
But still...
as I said the only thing I hope is Big E continues to be treated as a main eventer and isn't dropped down the card like everyone else...

Honestly, I get people are mad. That said, if someone's actually making the race argument I feel like that's a stretch. All signs point to Lashley being the one to have beaten Big E tonight before this all happened. The issue's beating your champ clean in the middle after a mediocre title run that wasn't the talent's fault, not one of race.

Kofi and E having shit WWE Title runs just to be flattened by Lesnar in the end
This shit's embarrassing, like flat out way to spit in the fans faces who waited years for these moments
Wish I could have any faith that E would get his momentum back, but I don't, not in WWE like this

Looks like Brock found Triple H's shovel because Lash, and Big E just got burried.

The issue is Big E is massively over, is charismatic and good enough in the ring and he's been treated like a chump. Nothing about his reign makes anyone think he belongs.

Great to see Beasty Boy with the title again, he's one of the best.
