They're probably friendly and I'm not expecting her to be Jeremy Paxman or anything but it's annoying seeing Renee smile and nod along as Nia proudly describes how she's anti-vax without even mildly attempting to question how much of a dumbass stance that is. "There's definitely something to be said for following your gut on things." Yeah sure, for some things. Your gut doesn't override science though. Also regarding this, didn't Renee actually have COVID last year which resulted in Moxley taking time off? If anyone should take umbrage with Nia it's her.

Renee is basically just chatting with her friends here.

Terrible in a co worker. Wonderful in a shoot interviewee

Out of all the pandemic released, she's one of the few who was a justified cut, even if they were in the wrong when it came to timing and cut her after agreeing to give her time off for her mental health.
Still boggles the mind they'd ask talent they just fired to return as they lacked the sense not to cut talent before an event where they'd need 60+ wrestlers. Does Vince not even know the WWE schedule anymore/

I don't think Renee's ever used her platform to clap back at her guests. It's a soft show, not one for hard-hitting questions.
So as much as Renee might think Nia Jax's vaccine attitude is stupid, she's not going to use her platform to shame her for it. That's not what it's for.

Yeah both heels but I’m taking wwe’s side on this one. Nia lying about why she got fired, I mean yeah the mental health thing is bad timing but she breached her contract. The contact thing was probably a guy lower on the totem pole like said earlier. Either way it’s a good thing she wasn’t in this rumble and potentially injured someone

So what I get is that WWE was willing to bring an unvaccinated person for the rumble.
That explains all the outbreaks

Nia’s side but…I sort of find it hard to believe it was contractually obligated. Like, I don’t know what wording you could have that would force people to have to take a vaccination unless potentially it was updated with the Twitch stuff? Hey, it could be, and she did get fired but at the same time, that sounds like a bit of Vince BS. Also because they likely don’t need it to be a breach of contract to fire her, considering how these things seem to work, WWE could fire her for wearing two different colored socks as long as it was discriminatory.

Giving these dumbasses a platform to air their potentially dangerous beliefs isn’t ideal though. Joe Rogan always uses the “I’m a podcast host not a journalist!” excuse to defend bringing on all kinds of shitty guests and letting them spread their conspiracies. I love Renee but she can get views without platforming idiots like Nia/Kross/Scarlett. I’m half expecting her to have Road Dogg or Brian Cage on next.

It's no loss that she didn't do it. Unsafe worker and never really got better. She only got a job because of the Rock.

Nia shouldn't have been in it anyway and comes off like a pretty shit person
WWE are shitheads in general for how they continue to handle situations and not read rooms
Just a whole trashpile here lmfao

Renee is basically just chatting with her friends here. If one of my friends were openly anti-vaccine and lied about the people they hurt, that person wouldn't be my friend anymore. But that's just me, I guess.

I take back what I said. Nia is a lying asshole and WWE is run by clowns, I'm on nobody's side here. This right here. I mean, I can believe a lot of people when it comes to WWE doing bad crap. And I do believe the Rumble approach, dumb as it was. But Nia, even say-whatever-I-like Nia like here, sorry...I don't put great stock on her self-serving takes. Putting herself in the best possible light. Especially given her 'barely hurt anyone, utterly shocked at being released despite being told I'd be released if I refused vaccination' comments as well.

If that means firing a bunch of people when you will need them soon, well thats next quarters problem. Why capitalism in this country is broken.

It's no loss that she didn't do it. Unsafe worker and never really got better. She only got a job because of the Rock. Honestly, that's probably a third of why she got the job. Her being like 6'0 and as big as she was while still being a former model is the other 2/3rds. Her being Rock's cousin might be why they fast-tracked her to the main roster, though, I'll grant, but WWE definitely liked her size and look, and saw dollar signs with her. Much as she really shit the bed as time went on, they weren't wrong, given her merch did sell, with her figures often being some of their best sellers.

If WWE fired her because she was anti-vax and they saw her as a health risk, but then were fine with the idea of bringing her back on a dime to do a one-off with a shitton of people in the ring, that's a kind of irresponsible that totally cedes any high ground WWE may have had. Yeah this whole thing is hella sus. I'm starting to doubt vaccines had anything to do with firing her. I would hope it was the injuring/botching thing. And way to gain then lose goodwill in the same interview. I guess it depends on what you believe in, though, with certain world events.

Yeah man or woman, Vince cannot resist hosses, I guess. It was actually why I liked her. Before the botches and before the nepotism, I mean. As this was a PSW who wasn't being used as comic relief, which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, seeing how Piper is booked now, that didn't last long. It is the New Generation all over again.

Nia was okay before her knee injuries. She was at least capable of having good matches with the right opponents like Asuka and Ronda. You could tell she wasn't the same performer when she returned.

Ah so she was like Ahmed. The more he/she got injured, the worst their work became.
