She managed to get some sympathy for a short amount of time when she lied and said WWE never mentioned her vaccination status when she was released and it came after she asked for more time off for her mental health.
But she couldn’t even keep that lie up for two months before revealing that it was because of her vaccination status and the boss himself talked to her about it.
What a dumbass.

I just realized something, just thinking about different reactions from the company concerning Nia and someone like Keith Lee.
When Nia put her Instagram post out, before we knew what she would say actually happened, there wasn’t a single response from WWE about it even though, from her end, it seemed to be a case they fired her for not getting vaccinated (something I side eye over but this is from what we know).
Keith Lee saying he paid for his medical costs got a statement from WWE basically saying “We support all our superstars and what Keith Lee said has no basis of truth” even though, from what we know about independent contractors in WWE, they support you so much but won’t go as far as pay for actual full on medical treatments since they don’t get insurance so he wasn’t exactly wrong there (especially from what we know from Mike Bennet where he refused payment for his rehab because he’d have to pay it back to them from the terms of the contract).
So my question is, considering what WWE could have done…why didn’t they respond to Nia? Was it because the post was liked by half the roster? They could have easily made themselves look good and Nia look bad if it was about vaccinations, unless they didn’t want anti-vaxxers protesting at shows ala Kyrie Irving?

I think that is a topic (mandatory vaccination) they probably don’t want to really delve into publicly as it has unfortunately become politically charged. As an aside, as far as I’m aware they do pay for full medical treatments in some scenarios, like if it’s related to an injury that happens on company time.

As an aside, as far as I’m aware they do pay for full medical treatments in some scenarios, like if it’s related to an injury that happens on company time. Unfortunately, that's likely the reason. Even if they have a right to do so, if they said "Nia did not follow our COVID protocol so under it, we had to release her and other talents", it would likely lead to protests outside Titan Towers or something like that. And yeah, if there are in company scenarios where that's needed, sure, but it wasn't even like he was saying "I got injured and WWE didn't pay anything" and he also said "WWE didn't support me" since he did that video that said as much but that he paid his own medical costs which, since it wasn't something that happened in the ring or in the arena and something that happened to him, that makes "sense" (or about as much sense as that would make). Like, it's not a massive thing, just a weird case of the company picking their PR battles.
