Here's a baffling fact, this is the longest run of Goldberg's career.

Guess Roman and his Uso henchman are going to go after Gage next lol Who will somehow have aged to look 25 when seen next.

I'd say give Big E his dream match, but WWE seems to have stopped caring about Big E as a major player again so...

I'd not mind Reigns vs. Goldberg, at least it's a fresh match. And probably for the Saudi show, it fits there. Another match versus Lashley though?

That seems especially bad considering he’s a power wrestler known for his football tackle signature and suplex-powerslam combination move, both of which really need healthy arms and shoulders to utilize effectively. The Jackhammer in particular has been really sloppy in his matches, damn near killing Taker that one time, and I have to imagine his shoulder problem wasn’t helping that.

Although I would prefer a young star who could use the rub retiring Goldberg. I guess their INSISTANCE on making Roman the man, just adds another accolade and person he squashes in this never ending title run. What's funny is they've tried to cement Roman as THE GUY! for longer than Austin's entire run at the top... Continually blows my mind just how red-hot but brief Austin's run on top was. Had guys like Sheamus around for about fourteen years or so and Austin's entire run was what 1996-2003 with two big breaks in between. Also how young he retired. At the time, 39 seemed kinda old for a wrestler but now with so many guys going on way into forties, well.. it doesn't.

Think he said as much in an interview. Like, he’s refusing to get surgery in case he’s asked to do another match which sounds…bad?

Well, if he has one more match on his contract, then throwing it away on the Saudi show seems the best way to get rid of it, to me. Shame Big E isn't going to get his dream match. A win over Goldberg would do wonders for Big E considering how the last few months have gone. Instead, let's just feed Goldberg to Roman because obviously, Roman hasn't beaten enough people already.

Heel Roman as a matchup makes a lot more sense than Big E. Maybe if Big E was still world champion, Goldberg could use his title match powers to face him in-storyline.

Think he said as much in an interview. Like, he’s refusing to get surgery in case he’s asked to do another match which sounds…bad? Depending what the issue is, maybe he would have less mobility or power after surgery. Sure he wouldn't have as much pain, but my dad had to get shoulder surgery and forced him into retirement as a carpenter because he didn't have as much power in that arm afterward to even hold a drill over his head.

They are SO DESPERATE to try and push this “Roman is an all time great” narrative.

There will be at least two Spear through the barricade spots in that Goldberg vs. Roman match.

Ugh no.
WWE is already unwatchable enough. I've tried but I always lose interest.

Honestly this match doesn’t bother me. It was supposed to happen 2 years ago and it’s on a throw away PPV.

It's for a Reigns match in Saudi. And as of right now it should be Goldberg's last match on his current contract. Whether they sign him to a new one or not remains to be seen. Although I would prefer a young star who could use the rub retiring Goldberg. I guess their INSISTANCE on making Roman the man, just adds another accolade and person he squashes in this never ending title run. Would a younger star even get that 'rub'? Considering angles and storylines mean absolutely nothing, and that Goldberg would be back again for the next Saudi show.
