I wonder if this is related to Vince's hangup about sneezing. Like you must be in complete control of your own body at all times, no exceptions. It would fit with the rest of his control freak demeanor.

And also in a roundabout way it would explain why he thinks pukes and farts are so funny. There's a thing in anthropology about how humor is designed to be release valve for societal taboos and it's the only taboo Vince puts on himself.
