The deal is "well over 3M a year." Raking in that cash money. That could easily turn into a $175,000 90 day contract knowing the way this company has wielded the axe over it's talent recently. 3.5 million would be almost $300,000 per month so a 90 day notice would net you about $900,000 in pay.

Good point. I divided by 52 instead of 12. I'll never attempt to do mathematical sums at 3am again!

The Covid schedule gave this man’s whole career new life. Remember pre-pandemic when he just seemed multiple steps slower and had a banged up everything? Not being on the road every single damn night must have felt so good for these people. AJ was probably the most noticeable difference.

Honestly for all the talk of NXT and developing new stars I think this is how WWE should work. Make your name elsewhere, perfect your act, then go to WWE at your peak to get the big money and ride that train for as long as your body/mind allows. I mean, a good 75% of the people during the 80s were people who did just that and took advantage of what territory those people came from so, like, it makes sense and has worked. Hell, even in the 90s and early 2000s a lot of their stars had travelled the world. Jericho, Mysterio and so many others had done Japan, Mexico and who knows where else. There are few that could genuinely be considered home grown stars.
