So on this episode of NXT Level Up, we had Jacket Time get completely decimated by Gacy and Harland. Which whatever. But that wasn't the only bad thing.
On the very same episode you had Sarray with her brand new gimmick apparently getting squashed by Elektra Lopez. The reaction to the result was overwhelmingly negative on social media.
Is it safe to say that Io is the only Japanese talent they care about at the moment? And furthermore, would anyone be shocked if they cut Jacket Time and Sarray in the next round of cuts at this point? Especially Sarray, as they just cut her gimmick off at the knees again, this time for a faction that is borderline a waste of time at this point. In the case of Sarray, her being in WWE is a waste of time at this point. Especially with them going all in on horny, I can't see her doing even remotely well in this godforsaken company anymore. Same for Jacket Time.

Bruce and Ace apparently see Japanese wrestlers as comedic midcarders and nothing more. As soon as they came back pretty much every Japanese wrestler got bumped lower down the card and got a "funny" gimmick.

Given that people seem to just use "squashed" to describe ANY loss clean or otherwise, forgive me if I want to wait a few days to see how these matches actually go.

We'll see if it was actually a squash, but I do find it dumb that they'd give Sarray her first loss since her return so soon.

Like...it was to Elektra Lopez who has literally no upside at all right now. It doesn't help that Legado as a faction is almost Retribution levels of being a joke at this point. The problem is the fact that they were so willing to give Sarray a loss this early shows they aren't committed to actually working with her. It's why I am firmly in support of her going back to Japan and proving why WWE messed up big time with her.

Kushida I will be completely surprised if he makes it out of this year still with this company they see absoloutley nothing in him and when that happens Jiro seems like only a matter of time to follow.
Sarray has been on such a stop start...getting squashed by Elekra Lopez like huh and this is still extremely early into her new gimmick run which you would think they would want to keep building up and Elektra aint doin shit right now...her whole thing with Xyon seemingly done and she is just a silent piece of Legado so why have her squash Sarray.

I'd love to know at what point in history someone taking literally any loss in WWE became "This company hates this talent and possibly their entire race", because it just makes booking this stuff entirely impossible to me. No matter who loses, someone's gonna arc up and be pissed off about it, and that's all the noise anyone hears.

Are these spoilers real? Last week's spoilers had Nile & Paxley losing to Henley & Inlay, but it was the other way around which was a waste of my time, as I posted the results before the show aired & had to re-do everything.

Gonna wager a guess and say that WWE still harbors an actual grudge against Asian talents. Someone will point to Asuka as why they aren't, but looking at her accolades with any sort of scrutiny will make them fall apart immediately. In the case of Sarray its probably because she isn't attractive enough for the suits in the back.

JR literally had to show Vince porn to try and get him to understand why people find Asian women attractive and then we get to the AJ LEE quote from her book about what she was told about how she was not f***able which hey is the current regime in charge of NXT. So this current regime not finding Sarray attractive would definetly be at the top of my list when it comes to whats going on with her.

Speaking of Xyon, he ain't doing so well either, getting beat by Joe Gacy a couple weeks back and then tonight he got beat by James Drake. He's fallen quite a bit since his feud with Santos Escobar and Legado del Fantasma.

Then deciding Xyon Quinn is more worthless than guys like Brooks and Von Wagner is certainly a choice.

Then deciding Xyon Quinn is more worthless than guys like Brooks and Von Wagner is certainly a choice. Brooks probably makes Vince laugh and Wagner is big. The problem is that in the case of someone like Sarray, you had her beat Dakota a couple of weeks ago...just to lose to Elektra now who will never be a big deal. And Legado in particular is a very weak faction who NXT has shown has no real future on the brand.

I mean, I'm not surprised by either result unfortunately. We know who they're going to push and why. But it's odd to have so many start and stop pushes. If you're going to re-debut Sarray and have her go on a win streak, keep it going so it means something when she loses. Just having her lose here on NXT Dark to a woman who to be honest likely doesn't have much of a future as a wrestler (but certainly can as a manager) is baffling.

Like...WWE isn't futureproofing with the women at all. The excessive horny factor in NXT is a legitimate turnoff at this point. Within the next 5 years or so at most, WWE is going to be in a really bad spot when it comes to women's wrestling. Especially with Stardom growing more and more popular in the west, and if AEW ever gets their head out of their asses.
