The irony of KUSHIDA is that he left NJPW because he felt like they had put a ceiling on him and he felt he could do more.

The irony of KUSHIDA is that he left NJPW because he felt like they had put a ceiling on him and he felt he could do more. The Mini CGI Version of him getting beaten up at WrestleKingdom was a bigger career highlight than almost his entire NXT run has been so far.

Bruce and Ace apparently see Japanese wrestlers as comedic midcarders and nothing more. As soon as they came back pretty much every Japanese wrestler got bumped lower down the card and got a "funny" gimmick. Weird since John had a huge career in Japan, you'd think that would have given him more respect for Japanese wrestlers.

The sad part is Sarray rebooted her gimmick, found some success and now after a single loss is already back to where she was before the reboot. I honestly think she is gone in the next round of cuts.
It's pretty obvious no one appreciates her backstage and the diva stans are targeting her on social media for her looks. Something she has expressed extreme displeasure towards.
I would argue she is going to be one of WWE's biggest missed opportunities at this rate. Because they refuse to give her a chance to get over on her own, and with the shift to "looks over ability", her future is pretty much toast.

Elektra over Sarray is definitely a headscratcher especially since they went through all the trouble to give Sarray this new character. Making her lose already on the second show doesn't make sense at all. I also doubt they're doing an Elektra/Mandy feud (although they are currently doing a heel vs. heel feud with Diamond Mine and Imperium so who knows) so it's not like giving Elektra that win does anything for her either. Unless they are keeping her strong to be a heel challenger for whatever babyface (likely Io as all the other faces have already lost to Mandy or are job fodder) Mandy drops the belt to.
Also who did Xyon piss off? Seemed like in the early days of the reboot he was going to be one of the guys they were maybe going to build around but then he came out of the Elektra angle looking like a total putz, jobbing in the blowoff and getting kicked in the balls by the girl he was trying woo and now he's just an afterthought losing all the time on the secondary show. He seems like a guy they would like as he has a good look and is a bigger dude and I think he definitely has more upside then someone like Von, so this quick and sudden descent is something I find very odd.

Grain of salt and all that, but there are people starting to float the theory that Sarray, Kai, etc are all being treated poorly because the higher ups are trying to "shame them" for how they look. Sarray only getting a small push (and now going back to jobbing) along with both her and Kai being given awful gimmicks adds fuel to that.
Which if so, is absolutely disgusting and should be condemned. And it would already put WWE in line for a "Most Disgusting Promotional Tactic" award.

Would be disgusting if that was the case but looks matter especially for the women now,but Sarray and Dakota are very beautiful so how anyone can think they dont have the right looks amaze me.

This is the same company that said that AJ Lee would not get over and appeal to the fans because she was un****able. At this point, nothing would surprise me about them.

Sarray is definitely someone who is victim of the change in direction of NXT. In the Black and Gold era, she was destined to go down the same path as Asuka and Io, having great matches en route to an NXT Women's title reign. Unfortunately, she's in the 2.0 era, where her wrestling skills are not the main priority for her, and it's not a good sign that her rebooted magical girl character is already eating losses on the secondary show.

If that's the case then they are trying to shame like half of the roster because over half of their rooster have awful and stupid gimmicks with inconsistent stop-and-start pushes.

Finn Balor lost like every week before his vacation. They were shaming him for how he looked no doubt.

This is the same company that has a guy who was able to get pretty over as a face with minimal screentime just by how he carried himself and turned him into a heel jobber with a ninja gimmick. I don't exactly put it past them to be racist, especially given how the push of basically every single Japanese person in the company has pretty much died all at once.
And for that matter there's how often they reduce Asuka's character down to, "LOL we can't understand her but she just keeps talking!"

You forgot the aftermatch of the NXT Title reign which is be called up and lose to Charlotte but apparently still a better end to what is happening now. The asian talent, man and woman, in specific seems to have suffered a lot from the shift

He seems like a guy they would like as he has a good look and is a bigger dude and I think he definitely has more upside then someone like Von, so this quick and sudden descent is something I find very odd. That's what I was thinking. Sarray got several vignettes, a hyped return and a major victory over Dakota Kai. I thought she was being set up to challenge Mandy Rose at Stand and Deliver, what with Io/KLR in the Dusty Classic. Instead she went missing and the next time we see her she's losing on basically NXT's version of Main Event. In retrospect, it really feels like that match was moreso for Dakota since it set up her interaction with Wendy later that night and the following week. Not to mention some character development on Dakota's end as she has been giving off some Face vibes ever since that match. As for Xyon Quinn, the guy went from soloing Legado del Fantasma on his own to getting beat by Joe Gacy on 205 Live a few weeks ago and now James Drake on NXT Level Up. This was someone who they were building to be a major player on 2.0 alongside Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Solo Sikoa, Tony D'Angelo etc. So, yeah, it's a pretty big fall from grace.
