Damn, didn’t even know his contract was up, like. Now he can be in any promotion literally tomorrow if he wanted to. What's weird is that I heard he'd signed a new deal shortly before the Roman match last year. But now his deal's up? Either those reports were bullshit or it was a pretty short-term deal. This is what I came to say. I also thought he signed a new deal, then got the push beating Seth at Wrestlemania.

I always back to that Austn interview with Vine where Vince said he was "TOO SWISS"
I am surprised Cesaro stuck around for as long as he did after that because if that wasn't Vince nailing the glass ceiling and welding it shut on him.

They waffled on this dude so badly even though he was MASSIVELY over, at times.
I’m excited to see where he goes. Would love a Kingston feud.

Crazy he never won the IC title.
Just want to give a mention to his NXT matches with Zayn. That tornado DDT to uppercut spot recovery was amazing. That era of NXT was one of my favourites in wrestling and he played a big part, Regal's retirement match being another standout.

Unless he’s retiring it’s AEW or Impact with AEW heavily favored for many reasons. ROH on hiatus and international promotions probably still half a year from being back to normal.

Frightful added people are sad to see him go as he's universally liked. WWE offered him a new deal and he turned it down.

Gonna be interesting to see who does not take up a new deal especially amongst the midcard guys who have been been nothing but shat on for the longest time now. Losing Cesaro is huge not just from a morale but the guy csn literally work with anyone and WWE keeps losing more and more of that core...soon enough Veer is gonna have no choice but to finally arrive.

AEW is *NOT* a magical cure for anyone who is cut from the Nick Khan pandemic cuts, and many wrestling fans already know this. As if AEW magically just wipes away how people feel when Nick Khan cuts, which puts undue responsibility on Tony Khan and then these fans go apoplectic on Tony Khan if he doesn't sign everybody.
I still would prefer both Cesaro & Johnny Gargano (in particular) to show in AEW however, but AEW is not my only preferred destination for either. AEW has to go for the best of the best of the best in their massive roster.
And I feel Tony Khan will absolutely sign both, given his fealty & love for the old NXT Takeovers & WWE personnel of this workrate.

The Smackdown roster must be absolutely tiny now by the way. It's as bare bones as they've ever had. And it's not like there's lots of options to call up from NXT these days either. It doesn't really matter Smackdown is the realm of the magical misery tour. They don't need any one but jobbers so Roman can get his endless heat.

Sara Amato(aka Sara del Ray), one of the Head trainers in the Performance Center, and one of the architects for WWE's "Women's Revolution". Awesome I definitely know of her and the Death Ray...Had no idea they were married...Makes a ton of sense

Owens and Zayn were in a rare good position in the company, same with Styles, and you could at least argue Owens and Styles make the upper card more often than not even now, but yeah, WWE is no longer the only game in town Cesaro can show up in AEW next week, and then also show up on New Japan Strong, GCW, PWG, and any other Indie worth a damn, and probably make a killing. At this point, a lot of peeps are betting on themselves. I'm sure the money was good for 10 years, but Cesaro is a very rare breed of athlete, and while he has a prime left, he should showcase it like he deserves to

He's made it no secret after all his indy years, these last few are about him making as much as possible.

While this is a blow, this ins't a big blow
I have consistently said I see the man as a really nice hand and a great tag team specialist but not really World Champ material. I have bought into the idea more when he had a good run beating Bryan and beating Seth at Mania. He has it in him to be World Champ but I wouldn't consider it a crime that he isn't either
