Hotshotting the NXT Title onto him was a big mistake and one of the worst decisions HHH made in his last year of control. I enjoy him as an act. His best asset is character work. But he is a guy that can be really over as hired muscle or tag Him and Moose I was really looking forward to in Impact before everything happened Yeah, and a lot of people thought he would've been better off on the main roster under Vince (I was one of them) and we all saw what happened there. Sometimes people just aren't good fits with certain companies, it is what it is.

Nah, he was way too integral in the Sox winning the 2007 World Series to be labeled a flop. His Grand Slam against Cleveland in the ALCS alone made him anything but a flop. Unless you mean when he signed with LA, but even then he played well until he opted out.

Kross is a lot like Brian Cage where Lucha Underground's unique presentation style benefited him a lot by covering up his weaknesses. Kross is great when he can focus in on his character and just let him talk. LU was perfect for him...he unfortunately got there late but he was treated as a very important player from the get go and his character was everything everyone was waiting on for the time he was there. So I am interested to see what comes of his stint in MLW.

And I hate to say it because I love her, but Toni Storm in WWE is another one. She was probably overhyped to an extent after the Mae Young Classics, but they also never knew how to properly use her in NXT or on the main roster. Making her an underdog babyface who celebrated winning meaningless tag matches like she was in the main event of WM and made ugly cry faces sure was a choice.

Super talented in ring but they never had a f***ing clue what to do with her....she tried things like War Goodess and then post apocalyptic war woman but they were all empty gimmicks with no depth. And at one point had her playing video games and getting bullied by Mandy and Sonya and doing nothing about it. And Shotzi has been the next one to follow in this path sadly.

If going from NXT to the main roster counts for this, then I would say roughly 85% of the callups between 2014 and today.

Ember's team with Shotzi is the most I ever enjoyed her in WWE. I thought they complemented each other very well.

I remember watching that Hogan vs. Warrior match at Halloween Havoc 1998 live and it was a f***ing mess. And then the feed cut out just as the Goldberg vs. DDP match started lmao. The weird butterfly effect thing of that Warrior run for me will always be the fact that he insisted on having a trap door to appear from, and that was the beginning of the end for Davey Boy(who, to a lesser extent, fits this thread both in 1993 WCW and in WWF in 1999) when he blew his back out getting slammed onto it and relapsed on his pain killer addiction. I remember seeing him before he got hurt, and he looked like a bloated mess. It was pretty obvious he was back on pain killers or some kind of drug before that, it just became a better story to tell that it caused him to relapse.

Question, would Jeff Hardy in Impact count? Sure it isn't a stupid mega flop but for getting arguably the biggest babyface in wrestling at that time(sans Tanahashi) all he proceeded to do was get in trouble and fall on his ass until he did the redemption arc. They should have moved needles with him

He obviously had severe issues with drugs and steroids for pretty much his entire career, but everything I've ever read tends to make me believe that it's not a coincidence that he went from "functional user" to "dead" in less than 2 years after that back injury.

Killer Kross and Scarlett in WWE. That was very disappointing.

Yeah... her entrance started all dark and forboding then immediately went into generic happy babyface... and then in the ring she was just a wrestler. They weren't even consistent in backstage stuff cause she did a promo that was like her entrance... but then later they had a feud over someone stealing her nintendo switch... even the "post apocolyptic" stuff... was a look... it wasn't a character. Should they have done more with her due to her talent? Absolutely... but... like she never had a character of any note.
