They were OVER at one point, more over than they had any right to be. They were the most generic like straight from the 80's babyface team possible, but man those first few weeks when they added Julia, shit clicked.
I still think apart they might still have value. Not sure about Pillman, he's regressed hard and honestly time away from the spotlight might do him very good at this point, but Griff is a very young and very impressive prospect. I feel like he just needs something be it a faction or just being himself, he's constantly put on good matches and exchanges and is only improving.

When they had Pillman make a big deal out of wearing his Dad's trunks only for him to flat out lose like a peon and scrub, they killed any chance they had.

At this point, nothing apart from what they are which is jobbers with name value
The roster is too stacked and they don’t contribute enough to the product in terms of matches and characters but more entertaining wrestlers are always gonna need a warm body to put them over

I think AEW taking the fall to semi try to highlight Pillman as a singles guy against MJF and Black really showed he wasn't ready... then dude just face planted anytime he was given a mic. Griff is kind of dealing with the backlash of Pillman being viewed as a dweeb just by association. Because yes they were over. Some of that was cause of DSOTR when it came out, but even during last spring and summer they were liked enough... until they tried Pillman vs MJF.

I would use them for the ROH reboot. They can develop some character there.
Griff needs a new look. He doesn't stand out at all.
Brian needs to move on from being a white meat baby face, He's only just started to add fire to his promos but he's got a long way to go.

I feel like Griff can be something, he just needs to find a better hook or presentation.
Pillman Jr. just isn't clicking, and in a company with so much talent that doesn't make tv..he really doesn't need to be one of the talent that does make tv. He's the one that actually needs more training imo.

I like Pillman well enough, but when his contract comes up, if WWE's interested, and they probably are, it might not be the worst thing for him to consider it, or Impact. Like, I think some different surroundings would probably do him some good given it feels like he's plateaued. The suggestion he be part of ROH, though, is also not a bad idea.

I could see Christian corrupting Pillman somehow to turn on Griff. But that might be too similar to the Judgment Day/Mysterio’s thing.

They need a gimmick change if AEW wants to do anything serious with them. Their gimmick reaks of WCW Saturday Night jobber fodder

Pillman Jr is teaming with Brock Anderson at indie shows, with Arn as a manager, and slides perfectly into ROH in a feud with Tully and Gates of Agony.
Griff Garrison should turn heel and call himself Dark Jungle Boy, like Dark Phoenix. Like when Trigon showed the Teen Titans their worst fears in dark versions of themselves. Christian corrupts him, but then John Silver saves him one day by asking "Who the f*** is Griff Garrison," and he snaps out of it.

Oh man, imagine the HEAT Christian could get from turning Griff into his new Jungle Boy.

I don't see much in Garrison. Sticking him with Christian might work but not sure.
Personally I'd book BPJ as almost the antithesis of his dad. Have him feud with Black, Christian, someone like that, where the deal is they're trying to get him to crack and go unhinged like his father, push him into being a loose cannon too. If the name's hanging over his head you may as well acknowledge it just don't ape it. Basically like Bray/Cena, except the payoff here is Pillman Jr DOES snap, but it costs him and then tries to get it back under control. Idea going forwards being that he actually wants to be the earnest, wholesome blue chipper wrestler- like his dad circa Flyin Brian- but has this erratic, unhinged side he tries to keep under control or it costs him. Somewhere inbetween Foley, Pillman and Waylon Mercy almost- not booking him as some 'hardcore legit badass' but a guy who's always teetering on the edge of stability, but doesn't want to follow his father's footsteps like that.

It wouldnt be a bad idea because Christian would have someone who can eat pins for his team.

Honestly at times I can't tell if they're in great need of improvement or if their booking is so lousy that they just look like nothing a lot of the time.
Honestly, in hindsight, I wonder if the team (Pillman Jr specifically) might have been better off in Impact. Less of a spotlight sure, but also less overall competition on the roster, and the company's proven to be decently effective at highlighting th strengths of a lot of talent that were formerly written off.
