I heard that the match was once planned is it true? No. At the time of Nailz's departure he was paired with Undertaker and Warrior was already gone.

I was at the Monday Nitro in October 1997 where the dark match was Nailz vs Yuji Nagata.

Weren’t they supposed to have an electric chair match or was that someone else? Taker maybe? I think that was supposed to be with Undertaker. He and Nailz had a staredown which made the cover of WWE Magazine. I remember the article on the two had a photo of Nailz in an electric chair.

"We need to wrap up this Boss Man feud, what else can we do with Nailz?" "I dunno, put him in an electric chair? It'll look cool."

Those matches would have been over faster than it took me to type this.

I was at the Monday Nitro in October 1997 where the dark match was Nailz vs Yuji Nagata. That's unbelievable! Nailz was able to still find work in '97😲 Please, what was his ring-name?

There's footage of a dark match at a TV taping between the two shortly before Warrior was fired. Weren’t they supposed to have an electric chair match or was that someone else? Taker maybe? This actually would've been a great way to write off Nailz.

Nailz was so awful. Warrior really wasn’t good at all, but at least he could have a good match with the right opponent in the right situation. You could have put Nailz in the ring with a prime Flair, Bret Hart, Steamboat, or Eaton and it wouldn’t have mattered.

Bret was under the belief it would be him and Warrior at Rumble but Warrior was advertised in a random group of wrestlers in the WWF magazine, leading me to believe he would be a rumble participant if he stayed. Same for Nailz. Nailz was featured on the ad and was named as one of the first few guys in the February magazine.

He'd been wrestling since like 1982, too, and I just have to wonder, what the hell happened? Surely he had to have learned more than "illegal choke", but you wouldn't think so on seeing any of his Nailz matches.

Bret crazily thought he was gonna win with the Sharpshooter. I have a better chance of beating Michael Jordan straight up in a game of one on one than Bret ever had of beating Warrior with the Sharpshooter.

Unlike Doink, who was presented as an accomplished wrestler who just happened to dress up like a clown, Nailz was presented as a recently paroled convict who had never wrestled in his life.

I don't really know where the Warrior-Nailz feud rumors came from. They were definitely setting up a Undertaker-Nailz program before Nailz got fired for attacked Vince.
Looking back it's kind of surprising that they had Boss Man go over on Nailz. I mean I didn't have a problem with it as that was the appropriate blow off to their feud and it gave Boss Man a nice final crowning moment before he started getting jobbed out and left in early 93. Also it ended up not mattering with Nailz getting himself fired. However Nailz was the one they had more plans for. Would've been hard to buy Nailz having any shot against Taker who kayfabe was the strongest guy in the company when he just lost to Boss Man in five minutes.

I thought Undertaker was the planned feud for Nailz before he was fired.
