I missed this thread for December but hog pen match and a casket match? Sold.
As for February… it’s kinda a toss up but I’d rather watch Bret and Diesel in a cage than Hogan and the Giant. Also I was a fan of HHH feuding with hog farmers and garage men. HBK finally putting Owen Hart behind him. Superbrawl just feels like nothing of importance is really going on. Also One Man Gang? A lot of those matches feel like names pulled out of a hat for ppv bonuses.
Also with WCW, it’s kinda hard to figure out unless you sat through a bunch of shows on the network, but normally they would only announce like the four big matches and then everything else is announced at the ppv. So Technically speaking if we’re just going by cards half this stuff couldn’t be selling points, where wwe normally announced everything even the pre show matches, but get why we’re doing it this way.

A 8-5 WCW win for February!
Now off to March
WWF WRESTLEMANIA
1)The British Bulldog, Owen Hart, and Vader (with Jim Cornette) vs Ahmed Johnson, Jake Roberts, and Yokozuna (with Mr. Fuji)If Yokozuna's team won he would have received five minutes in the ring with Jim Cornette 2)Roddy Piper va Goldust (with Marlena)"Hollywood Backlot Brawl" 3)Stone Cold Steve Austin (with Ted DiBiase)vs Savio Vega 4)The Ultimate Warrior vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley (with Sable) 5)The Undertaker (with Paul Bearer) vs Diesel 6)Shawn Michaels (with José Lothario) vs Bret Hart (c) 60-minute Iron Man match for the WWF Championship
WCW UNCENSORED 1)Konnan (c)vs Eddie Guerrero for US title 2)The Belfast Bruiser vs Lord Steven Regal 3)Col. Robert Parker vs Madusa 4)JOhnny B Badd vs DDP (Badd was replace by The Booty Man 5) The Giant (with Jimmy Hart) vs Loch Ness 6)Sting and Booker T vs The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) in a Chicago street fight 7)Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage vsRic Flair, Arn Anderson, Meng, The Barbarian, Lex Luger, The Taskmaster, Z-Gangsta and The Ultimate Solution (with Woman, Miss Elizabeth and Jimmy Hart) Doomsday Cage match
Man both of these cards do NOTHING for me. I'll go WWF mostly because of the iron man match

In many ways a weak Wrestlemania, but it's still a pretty east choice. WWF.

A returning Ultimate Warrior is all I would need to convince me to go with WWF this time around.

While I was a big WCW fan at the time, I went with Wrestlemania over Uncensored 96.

WWF WrestleMania +1
I don't remember how closely I was paying attention to WCW at this time, but I can't imagine taking that cage match seriously at all. Ugh. The only thing on that Uncensored card that looks good is Sting/Luger vs. Harlem Heat.
Oddly enough, I wasn't really excited about that WM either. I wanted Bret to beat Shawn, but I felt strongly that it was going to be Shawn's night. Was super curious about the Warrior comeback but not even a fan of Warrior. Taker vs. Diesel was probably what I was most excited about.
I think March '96 was an example of WWF doing the best they could with a very weak roster, and WCW doing the absolute worst they could with a super stacked one.

I'm going to go with WWF for the first time. I think it's a mostly boring match but at the time I would have been looking forward to the ironman match. Plus the return of Ultimate Warrior after 4 years would have been a big deal and Undertaker v Diesel was interesting.

WrestleMania XII gets the nod because the show actually has stuff of importance happening on it.
Uncensored is both bad, and pretty much throwaway relying mostly on the spectacle and novelty of the Doomsday Cage, which is about the only good things anyone could say about it.

Wrestlemania easily, The Iron Man Match, Hollywood Back Lot Brawl and Ultimate Warrior return would have intrigued me.
Nothing on Uncensored interests me especially another Cage Match.
Come to think of it, I'm sure that The Doomsday Cage Match has never shown up on a WCW Compliation release, not inthe UK.
Not even on that OMG, 50 WCW Insane things DVD that got released.

Yeah. It's 'Mania, regardless of the freakshow potential of the Doomsday Cage.

Yeah as a kid WM 12 looked amazing, but I also watched the build for Uncensored and ran around the house screaming “IT’S ZEUS!!!”
Mania for sure.

I wouldn't have been particularly interested in either of those but if I had to choose I'd go with WCW due to curiosity over the battlebowl.

Another easy win for WWF.
They did a drawing on Nitro to determine who would be facing each other in the Lethal Lottery, and couldn't help themselves from doing the "omg Road Warrior Hawk and Road Warrior Animal on opposing teams!" and "omg Rick Steiner and Scott Steiner on opposing teams!" which, without fail, always turned out to be anti-climactic af. The only good way to do BattleBowl was the way they did '91 and '93, by just giving it a whole show and letting the Lethal Lottery drawings be a mystery until right before the match.
