Why won't they grant her release?
She's in the lower tier of the women's division and not like she's a big merch mover

a return to the bad old ways for tna/impact, what next? the swerve you never saw coming bro? I always thought a heel stable could freshen up TNA. I don’t know why they never tried that before.

It really sucks because I like Lady Frost, and Impact feels like the best possible promotion for her right now...which makes it all the more confusing that Impact would pull this on her. It wouldn't be justifiable if she were a big name talent, but...I would at least see the motive? As is, it's not like Frost is going to walk into a big WWE or AEW spot, the most she could get is probably the Diamante/Emi Sakura treatment in AEW.

The truth is probably in the middle but that story doesn't make her look great... Yeah, this feels like she's got a deal from somebody else on the table and she's trying to force her way out.

It's tough to believe their official line on anything here because lying about contract shit has been their MO multiple times.

The truth is probably in the middle but that story doesn't make her look great... The problem is that Impact has lied about this sorta thing in the past, like with Kross. So I'm not going to really believe them out of hand unless there's proof Frost is talking out of her ass.

Also, none of that reads why they shouldn't give her a release If she was unhappy with the booking plans and requested her release, so be it. You going to hold on to her because she didn't do the job for someone? You said she can go. Call her unprofessional and let her walk otherwise this is just being petty

Impact benched him to make it clear to the other talent that that kind of shit will not be tolerated. I can't believe people are still defending Kross going public and shitting on the company because they wouldn't pay him more than the amount HE AGREED TO.

If Impact really felt like they were doing the right thing by Kross, they wouldn't have offered him that BS 3 year contract for 6 figures
They let Scarlett go but wouldn't let Kross go and blocked him out on making money. They told Kross to stay home. They had no reason to keep him on when he asked for his release

Then Kross went back and said "nah, now I want more". If Impact gives it to him, what is to stop any of their other contracted stars from doing exactly the same thing? I cannot understand how people think what Kross did was defensible. If he thought the deal sucked, DON'T SIGN IT!

Except they were going to give him "more money" they just finessed the shit out of it How's that? Was there any part of the deal Kross signed that they didn't honor? Because everything I've ever heard is that Kross heard through the grapevine WWE would've paid him more, so he decided either Impact needed to ante up, or they should let him go. That isn't how it works. If you think you're worth more, don't sign the deal.

That isn't how it works. If you think you're worth more, don't sign the deal. And i've said before, Kross was wrong for airing out the dirty laundry in public BUT Impact did a fine enough job making an ass of themselves. All they had to do was tell him to show up to work and if he refused he looks like a giant asshole. But no, they decided to be petty and release his girl but not him, not allow him to make money elsewhere and even then shit on his merch so he couldn't make money off that There was no point in making a point. They just made themselves look petty and little by trying to say that want to give him more money and it was a meager deal that only had like 25k a piece for two years. They have two legit options, release him or make him come to work. They did neither. He was an ass and they made themselves look even dumber. There is no defending the pettyness of letting Scarlett walk but making him stay
