That's literally impossible Human beings are affected by the words and actions of other human beings It's not impossible. You can train yourself to not care what other people think. You absolutely care what other people think whether you want to admit it or not. Maybe not people in general but I bet you'd be really hurt if someone you loved told you they hated you. The only people who ACTUALLY don't care are low functioning psychopaths, and even then only if they're not also colossal narcissists.

I put this one on Sky more than WWE and just bad timing. I thought it was bad taste it didn't offend me everyone always says it didn't air on British TV but I remember seeing it on the big TV in my parents living room. It was the garrotting of the Undertaker airing after the 7/7 bombings. It was recorded before the attacks so you cannot blame WWE, but it aired after the attacks and no-one thought to ring up Sky and say hey maybe dont air this one. If it dint air and is some mandala effect nonsense than its my own fault for torrenting the episode and being disappointed with content even if I thought the whole Hussan angle was in bad taste. It was definitely edited out of the Smackdown here in the UK, however I'm pretty sure WWE showed it again on GAB '05.

It's weird because I remember seeing it almost immediately after the events and thinking can't blame wwe it's not like they knew this was going to happen...I must have been curious and downloaded it or it was a late night repeat and they kept it unedited, do you remember how you saw it the first time in the UK?

I would have watched it on the first airing on Sky Sports on the Friday night. Smackdown had been moved off Sky One by then.

from what I remember sky didn't show it on either the late night or early morning versions of that week's smackdown. I know wwe put the footage on their website news video feed, sky may have let the footage be shown on the following week's show and the next ppv but it wasn't shown the same week of the terrorist attack in london.

Pat Patterson with skidmarks in his drawers.
I could have been doing anything with my life, but here I was watching Pat Patterson with skidmarks in his drawers.

Pat Patterson with skidmarks in his drawers. I could have been doing anything with my life, but here I was watching Pat Patterson with skidmarks in his drawers. 2000 is my favorite year ever for WWF/E, but it had some awful garbage and that was a lowlight.

Just rewatched Payback 2016 last night. On the pre-show, Lawler said in reference to something, “I’d rather ride in an elevator with Ray Rice.”

I remember the JBL illegal immigrants thing offended me as a kid. I think the Mexicools shit was going around that time and it was like … Now I think it’s hilarious.

I've seen my fair share of things in wrestling that have been in awful taste, but none of them have disgusted me as much as that horrible Katie Vick scene.

Mine is very minor compared to others mentioned here, and I'll probably catch flack for it, but Charlotte throwing two pies in Toni Storm's face, and Toni proceeding to just stand there, looking sad, while Charlotte laughed in her face.
To me, this was the moment I realized that as long as Vince McMahon was in charge, the company was going to be nothing but lowbrow humor and stupid angles that buried the talent just to amuse a clearly disturbed old man. As many here know, this was actually the moment that caused me to start weening myself off of WWE for the most part.
It was a bad angle to kick off a feud where we already knew who was going to win. There was no need to make Toni look completely incompetent the first week when she never had a chance of winning in the first place. Stupid, an absolute waste of time and talent, and the fact that it happened almost a year ago, Toni is a Champion right now, and I'm still not over it, should tell you what I thought of it.

When Triple H turned to the camera and said "[Perpetual Nirvana] is a big stupid poo-poo head." I never recovered from that.

Somebody saying "I hate your guts" is not objectively a hurtful comment. It's up to me how I react to it and I can CHOOSE to not let it affect me.

Being offended isn't a choice it's an instinctual reaction, and everyone experiences it, no matter how much they claim otherwise. saying you don't ever get offended is like pretending you're not depressed. Now, you can choose not to ACT ON being offended but that's completely different.
