It's not fun hate-watching cheaters when the games start so damn late and are so long. There's a reason the Superbowl starts at like 5 in the afternoon instead of 8 at night. Yeah, I don't get why they don't start games earlier in the evening. My immediate thought was afternoon games on the weekend, but then I remembered football on Saturdays and Sundays would probably destroy even WS ratings. I'm a big baseball guy, but also realize my type is becoming (already?) a minority. I don't know what the answer is.

I wonder if this is a thing with other sports too. Like the NBA has a habit of the same few teams making the finals or outright winning in bunches. Most recently the Warriors. Do NBA finals ratings suffer when that happens or does the NBA's star-based promotion and being more of a national sport compensate for that?
Granted even if this happens with the NFL, they've turned the Super Bowl into such an event that the two teams playing is almost irrelevant except to their fanbases. Even if there were ratings drops during the Patriots dynasty years with Brady, it really only dropped from "ridiculously high" to a mere "incredibly high."

So, would anyone take a chance on Bellinger? He has fallen off a cliff since his surgery, but he might be a real steal or another Chris Davis.

Trea Turner's desired landing spot is apparently The Phillies

Lmao the Giants paying Joc nearly 20 million next season after he signs the offer. I can’t wait for their excuse that he’s a reasonable fallback after they (thankfully) don’t sign Judge.

Kershaw and Dodgers closing in on one year deal It doesn’t mean anything in terms of getting better, but he’s our hero and maybe seeing him wear that jersey till the end is worth it.

And Farhan already poached their assistant GM. Do they have a President of Baseball Ops as the mastermind then a GM under him?

Kershaw is Mr. Dodger to folks in my age bracket, so I hope he spends his whole career there. Would be awesome to watch

Maybe they’ll hire back the guy who was suspended/fired for the cheating scandal? Forgot his name. He technically built this team for the most part so wouldn’t be a downgrade.
