Well, the Jays are looking at Nimmo, but that still doesn't excuse how f***ing terrible that trade was.

Dont even get me started with how many great players the Blue Jays traded away before those players became stars. Noah Syndergaard, Jeff Kent, Travis D'Arnaud, Michael Young, Mike Napoli, Yan Gomes,

Hooo boy, the Mets and Yankees are being investigated by the MLB over possible collusion in regards to Judge's contract.
Since the Athletic article is hidden behind a paywall, it states the ruling that the sharing of information on player contracts is strictly prohibited. The CBA states, “Players shall not act in concert with other players and clubs shall not act in concert with other clubs.”. Rosenthal reported that the league is expected to request the phone, text, and email records between Cohen and Steinbrenner. If the union files a grievance over the situation with the Mets and Yankees, an arbitrator will determine whether collusion occurred.

Cohen I expect this from considering his shady past, never exactly giving a shit about rules beforehand, and being a new owner. But Steinbrenner should know better.

First the Knicks, when it is a New York team, they always want to investigate.

Paul Goldschmidt and Aaron Judge are your MVPs. *Me seeing that Daniel Bard get a vote* "The f***? Daniel Bard?" *Me seeing that Daniel Bard had a sub 2 ERA and at Coors* "What the f***? Feels like this season by him should have been bigger news."

For all the talk among baseball talking heads about how the race between Judge and Ohtani would be neck and neck, it wasn't even close. 28 out of 30 first place votes went to Judge. The last two went to Ohtani.

For all the talk among baseball talking heads about how the race between Judge and Ohtani would be neck and neck, it wasn't even close. 28 out of 30 first place votes went to Judge. The last two went to Ohtani. Shohei Ohtani is such a baseball unicorn that he's always going to be in the MVP conversation unless he has a putrid season both on the mound and at the plate. He was a 3.4 WAR as a position player and 6.2 WAR as a pitcher. It's truly unbelievable what he's been doing, and it literally took one of the greatest slugging seasons in the history of the American League for him to not win back-to-back MVP awards. It's the equivalent of Pedro Martinez in 2002 stepping off the mound and then producing like 2002 Jeff Bagwell at the plate. It literally makes no sense and we should be talking about it non-stop, treating it like Baseball Poochie.

The biggest knock against Ohtani is that he plays for the Angels. Put him on any playoff team, and the race with Judge would have been a lot closer, but I think Judge was winning either way. What Ohtani is doing is absolutely unheard of and we probably won't see something like this again (or at least not for a long time) but Judge also did something that you will probably not see again (or at least not for a long time), which is a clean 62 home runs. There would have been no wrong answer, but Ohtani won it last year and his team still stinks, so it was a no brainer that it would go to Judge this year.

Dodgers to non tender Cody Bellinger From an MVP to a Non Tender in three years without a serious injury involved is absolutely insane to me He's 26, someone's gonna sign him, but that dude looked like he'd be a Dodger for life and his numbers just went off a cliff... maybe a change of scenery will get him back.

Boston should sign him for cheap and see if the little league parks of the AL east help bring back his power numbers
