I hope Mutoh can give some words after the match that doesn't come out something like, "Naito's pretty good. Bit fruity, though."

Early on in this retirement tour, Kenta Kobashi mentioned that he was trying to persuade Mutoh to have a final show that brought together the best talent of all the big Japanese companies. Something that would be a showcase of past, present, and future.
Seems like he got his way. This is basically an ALL TOGETHER show in the Tokyo Dome.

Card seems good. Interesting that New Japan is participating but Stardom is not, but there is a TJPW match instead.

Yes. He suddenly announced that he'd be retiring in December.

That Dragon Gate vs. NOAH match is gonna slap something fierce.

It’s strange to me that Muta is retiring and I think, “Holy shit, he’s still wrestling?,” while Ricky Morton can show up on an indie show near me and it’s just, “Oh, hey , there’s Ricky!”

Okada and Kiyomiya has my attention.
Also the chance of seeing Miyahara and Kenoh wrestle.

I am a little concerned that Wrestle Universe having a ppv function means they'll want to use it more.
Suppose it's ok for special multi-company shows like this and tjpw have always had their weird ppv specials*, just hope it's not anything more than those (eg how Stardom do things). If that was the case I'd rather they just put the subscription price up as it's so cheap for what you get.
*For those that don't know they're not their major events, they're kinda house shows where they do weird things like cooking challenges.

NJPW have been using PPV for their NOAH crossovers as well as the Tanahashi/Fujinami show. I expect that doing PPV makes it easier to divide the earnings amongst the involved promotions. Though yeah, it's fair to worry that a company will go to the greedy route.

I don't know like 70% of the people on the card, but I'll def check it out.
I like how Okada's face is all loooking at his wife thinking "oh, you're going to wear THAT out tonight?"
And Kiyomiya looks like Okada's younger clone gone rogue from a dystopian future that's come back for revenge.

It's interesting also that KAI has an immediately announced match for this card, but SANADA does not.

Miyahara’s theme playing the Dome is gonna rule If there's cheering, I hope a massive 'KEN-TO" chant happens along with it.
