Yeah attendance is through the roof, the company is going to sell for exactly what they wanted and they are as mainstream as they have ever been. Such a failure. So there's two ways of looking at it. Financially yes this was a huge success, but when you build your biggest show of the year around a story and the story doesn't have a satisfying ending? It can eventually lead to issues. Happened to WCW with StarrCade 97. Now admittedly there was a lot of other things that went on and I don't think WWE will be in that level of financial struggles anytime soon. But I also don't think we can write off a bad ending to what had been built up perfectly because of financial success either.

They did a finish Dusty would be proud of in match where it was about who he loved more and the answer was the booker. Cody will get his because of the finish of the match calls for it, probably leading to the belts being spilt, the only question is who will be left in the back? And the question really is why should we care or trust that to happen? Like the big issue here is it's diminishing returns. Tonight was the night, they can try and say whatever they want, they blew it lol

"The story continues on RAW" Why? Why does it need to continue? How did it NOT end at Mania? F*** you dude, seriously, hold your Fat L lol Seriously, the whole point of Mania was wrap everything up and send the fans home happy. They haven't done that for YEARS.

Pretending Dusty was never a world champion, coming back after however months out, entering the Rumble at 30, winning and then just running through Roman isn't a story. It's basically how Triple H was booked back when Jericho was champ, but at least he was presented in the main event for years when he did it. 40 years of how WWE books "outside" talent should have told you how this is going to, even if it didn't, listening to Bruce Prichard's podcast should have told you how this is going to go, even if it didn't, Triple H's known love for NWA style booking should have told you how this is going to go.
Now, the Bloodline can break up, Cody can remain in the main event with Roman, Roman can lose and Jimmy/Jey/Solo are ready made heels to challenge Cody to attempt to usurp Roman and fail.
Bloodline just losing leaves Cody with no one at all to face.

The finish of every Roman match calls for it and it never amounts to anything. Cody will probably drop the loss back to Solo then set about putting over Theory or some shit.

They’re doing great as a company, but if you take away the Bloodline angle and look at everything else that HHH has booked he’s got a low batting average for sure.
Of all of the big returns that he brought back they’ve pretty much all failed for one reason or another.

Everything started going downhill when Stephanie left. She was the real reason everything was much better.

I didn’t watch Mania. I just now looked at the results…..are you f***ing kidding me? You essentially ended three Wrestlemanias in a row with the Heel going over. You were telling a pretty damn good story, and they f***ed it up. I’m not even a WWE fan anymore and that still pisses me off. Because even if Cody eventually wins or someone else beats Roman, you’ve already ruined the perfect moment. That moment has passed. It’s gone. Or at least it won’t be as powerful as you would have wanted it. Once again, I’m glad I left WWE behind, because of bullshit like that. At least Hangman beat Kenny at the end. People have already said the perfect moment passed like 4-5 times in this reign. They don’t seem to have a problem getting that scenario booked and set up so I wouldn’t doubt them doing it again. Reigns is that good.

It was WrestleMania, your biggest show of the year and the storyline you've been building to and you pull that kind of spite ending? It's like Stallone having Rocky lose in the first minute in the fight against Apollo and justify it by saying he'll beat Spider Rico during the credits.

Of all of the big returns that he brought back they’ve pretty much all failed for one reason or another. The most talented people that were released or left were already signed by AEW so he was mostly signing the scraps for returns. And there was plenty of stories and talent over at Mania this weekend outside of the Bloodline angle.

What a f***ing load of shit tbh Jey is not only a shit human being who doesn't deserve to be rewarded for it, but the fact they threw Sami AND Cody to the wolves for him just illustrates no one else f***ing mattered in this story but The Bloodline.

He is, if they're willingly to pull the trigger and build to SummerSlam. If they cave to message boards who just want a new champion for the sake of a new champion, Roman loses sooner.

Reigns is that good. Reigns is amazing in the role... HOWEVER Drew and Cody seemed tailor made for their moments to win the title and it passed. Sami was lightning in the bottle and the credit goes just as much to him as it does Roman. Can WWE make another captivating story? Sure. But when a company spends years telling you that Wrestlemania is the granddaddy of them all and builds everything around Mania moments? This is a big mess up

Fact is HHH's booking has been pretty shit, from returns to callups, his two biggest focuses since getting control in in Damage CTRL and Cody both collapsed this weekend, and it doesn't make him look good, let alone all the people he's brought back all just being bodies for top stars to catch It's just really not been a great showing of him as a booker, he lost a lot of people tonight, for good reason

Why is he a shit human being? He had a DUI arrest like 5 years ago but I don’t think there’s been anything else that’s come out about him is there (unlike Jimmy).
