I'm not sure how much time Bobby Lashley's sisters were actually on, but it was too long anyway. An oft forgotten one is Johnny Nitro's press conference with Melina after he won the IC title for the first time. I'm convinced that promo, by itself, killed any chance he had of ever being considered a main event talent by Vince. Xavier Woods coronation and knighting of Kofi Kingston segments after he won King of the Ring were pretty bad. Was the Nitro one the one where Jeff Hardy later painted a canvas and said watching it dry was more entertaining than Nitro's promo had been? I want to say that's what gave us the infamous, "THAT'S MY PAINTING, MAN!" moment. That was at least funny a an acknowledgment Nitro's segment had gone south.

Nattie and TJ told the story on Talk is Jericho that Vince knew for a fact putting the Hart family in the same room together would become an insane shitshow and did it for his own amusement. They hadn’t all been together since Stu’s funeral, so it got nuts. Bruce at one point Batista should do a run in. Someone said “Uh, Batista is a little busy tonight”. Not only that but Bruce wanted Bret to get busted open even though WWE had become PG and didn't do blood. Didn't bruce also try to take liberties with Steve austin during the Canadian stampede 10 man tag? God that guy sucks

The Brother Love Show from Summerslam 90 with Slaughter as a guest. Good Lord did that ever drag on. I feel bad for the crowd that had to sit there and let it happen to them. Also the Brother Love Show at Wrestlemania 5 with Roddy Piper and Morton Downey Jr., even Bruce said it was a slog to get through. This is genuinely my least favourite wrestling segment of all time. I used to hate it as a kid because of how boring it was.

They actually began acknowledging the segment going south during the promo, with JR and Lawler making snarky comments before it even ended. ("We've only got a two hour show here, guys!")

On TV: 10/14/10 TNA Immortal segment. And like the dumb TNA mark that I was I watched the entire thing. I hate watched it, but I watched it nonetheless. I remember vividly thinking "man just a couple years ago in 2008 TNA was really f***ing good....and now here we are..." And this is coming from someone who watched since the Asylum years, and had seen some shitty shit. I should really get back into Impact.
In person: Kid Rock concert at WM 25. I've never liked the dude. I don't like his music. I went for a bathroom break, and hit the concessions, and came back and it was STILL GOING ON.

nWo Nightcap is in its 25th year of the same segment. Holy shit was that long, unentertaining, and pointless.

That I saw live..... it was during nxt season 2. Husky Harris vs. MVP and it got 15 minutes of ring time. Slow, horrible, never-ending.
Other segments I remember on tv..... not sure if it was long in real time but vince giving the ruthless aggression speech to the raw locker room. Just seemed to go on.

God that guy sucks Always reminds of a quote from Bret when asked why he pushed to feud with Owen over Bruce. "Owen was great and Bruce was the shits." What makes the situation even surreal is that WWE really wanted Bruce to feud with Bret despite the latter outright telling them that the former was too old, out of shape, and wasn't that great a worker to begin with. That the company saw so much in him and not Owen is just baffling in hindsight.

Another one you can add to the list is Bobby Heenan orgasming over Lex Luger's WWF debut at the 1993 Royal Rumble. That was brutal to watch.

If it wasn't for the Brawl 4 All those would have won the worst recurring segments of 1998 award by a country mile. Speaking of which...some of those B4A matches were about exciting as watching grass grow.

The Rock/Punk "arms too short to box with God" promo. Copying and pasting because it came up in another thread recently.

Roddy Piper assembling a “family” to take on the nWo.
It was a Nitro in 1996 or 1997, when Roddy Piper said he was going to hold tryouts to find the right squad to take on the nWo. The live crowd justifiably thinks it’ll be active WCW wrestlers, but Piper invites down a group of absolute no-names and holds a variety of shoot wrestling and boxing matches with them as the crowd completely loses any and all interest over the next 20 or so minutes.
The crowd was so over it that when they actually recognize one of the challengers - John Tenta - they go nuts for him like he’s Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI.
To make matters worse, Piper dropped the “family” angle within a week or two. So not only was it a waste of everyone’s time, it was a waste of everyone’s time that went nowhere.

LOL funnily enough the next Nitro I'll be watching is where he starts the ''family'' angle. It's in 1997.

I didn’t really think it would be active WCW guys, but I thought it would be “outsiders” with name value. I’m not really sure who that would have been at the time, but obviously Tenta was the only one who met the criteria at all. And they kind of doing worked boxing matches? I seem to remember it that way but I haven’t seen it since. If so, that’s just another bizarre and senseless aspect to the whole thing.
