One Month Later: Have Your Viewing Habits Changed?

One month ago today, monumental news broke that WWE would merge with Endeavor, with Vince McMahon second only behind Endeavor founder and CEO Ari Emanuel in the newly-merged entertainment and sports megapower.

Hours later, Roman Reigns retained his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship by pinning Cody Rhodes to conclude WrestleMania Sunday.

Both events drove many fans on this forum to say they were leery of the future of WWE, with some saying they were giving up altogether - the combination of a fully-returned and empowered Vince McMahon, plus a fumbled storybook ending of the years-long Bloodline saga, driving them away.

So, one month later, have your WWE viewing habits changed at all? Are you watching more? Less? Not at all?

Stopped watching the weekly shows after the Raw after Mania was still annoyed about Cody not winning the title but the draft did make me watch Smackdown last week. No way was I watching a 3 hour draft Raw though.

Playing WWE SuperCard for a week plus now has helped me out to recapture the magic of keep following folks like Gunther more closely, the WrestleMania 39 card is so'oh powerful - like in reality! 😎👆

AEW keeps offering more interesting match ups, ' really look forward to that Steel Cage match between Omega and Moxley!

As much as before which is I'll catch clips of SDL and Raw online if anything sounds interesting, or watch the condensed versions WWE puts on YT. And then PPV's I'll check out depending on the card/angles.

Since WM I dropped Raw and SD completely, I just can't do any more Bloodline shit even if Roman's on his fifteenth vacation and not even there, the title reign looms over the whole company and when something that is so dominant in screen time makes me miserable it's like why take time watching this? There's no reward waiting at the end of the tunnel, there's no point sticking with the misery booking hoping it'll have a decent payoff or that it'll even end any time soon.

I’m exactly where I’ve been since last year. I just watch the highlights on YouTube since work makes me miss most of RAW and all of SmackDown and watch PPVs with mom on days off

I still watch, but I change the channel during Bloodline segments/matches (if they're in the last match of the night I end early). I just cant deal with them winning all the time (I know they lost to Sami and KO on the last SD).

I've watched a bit less and some live threads have been indicative of that

It's mainly just the matches turning into too much filler or in the Bloodlines case, I know what's going to happen, so I tune out like 80 percent of those matches if not more

Doesn't help WWE when Sixers Playoff Games and Phillies games run into them and divide up my attention, but Roman still holding the belt and the holding pattern everything's been in has been dire. My interest might perk up again post Draft becoming official, but overall giving RAW a consolation title and Roman's bullshit having no end in sight haven't really given me a ton to give a shit about currently.

I went with the first No option. But my interest began to wane, some time last year. I don’t know, I just don’t really care. I’m just not that invested in any of it. And my posting in the live threads reflect that. I rarely post, because I rarely watch. That applies to AEW, too.

I usually watch when I'm free but I make less of an effort to be free and I often have it as background noise while I watch other sports. I was more excited about the main roster product than I've been in years from January to March. That feeling is gone now.
