Good for them. Must admit there was more than a small part of me ready to watch them jump ship just to see the carnage unfold. But this puts to bed a huge source of uncertainty for AEW.

Says a lot that Sports Illustrated were able to get the scoop considering.
But yeah, honestly glad all that is behind us. Maybe this was the thing needed to solidify before some straight edge related shenanigans can kick off?

Meltzer writes for SI, and is by far the most credible thing that place has going for it these days

Some people wanted them to jump ship because of Punk and those people now are probably eating their own words.
Congrats to the Elite for getting the bag(they deserved it)

That's good, I hope this means there will be more of a focus on Hangman again.

Figured this was happening. With reports that AEW contracts are basically the same as WWE now in terms of money, the only way I saw the Elite leaving is if they had a falling out with Tony. But the schedule and freedom outside of Dynamite/Rampage and creatively is a big draw for many

I wanted Omega to jump ship but regardless I am happy they are staying.
Now Punk will take even more pot shots at these guys since they can't go anywhere.

I wanted mah boys in WWE because it sounded intriguing. But as Kingoftheindies said, money plus flexibility, creativity, familiarity…it was probably the route to go. Happy if they’re happy.

Still hoping we don't get a worked shoot feud with Punk, though.

The Bucks admitted the schedule (and money) were a big factor while Kenny said that AEW gives him the chance to work with so many different styles of opponents that's all he wants

I figured it was a given, but I'm glad all the speculation is done.

I am so incredibly thankful Kenny didn't jump to WWE. I understand why some people wanted it to happen, but I think "greatest wrestler to never appear on the WWE main roster" is a really cool part of Kenny's legacy, and I just sincerely had no desire to see him accompanied to the ring by a giant CGI mop to interrupt Cody Rhodes and declare that he, actually, is going to defeat Seth Rollins for the made up world title.
