I hope Ortiz's response says like "it's been over 14 days since All In" and Santana's response has "14 hours" in it so they can continue going back and forth with each tweet having a passage of time involving the number 14 for some reason.

Gonna be honest, Eddie needs to intervene on this. Kayfabe wise (in real life, they need to just quit the twitter fingers and talk)

As a tag team they could be multi time champions, as singles wrestlers they really have little value to AEW.
Such a shame that Santana seemingly can't realize this.

Did they even interact at all in the stadium stampede at all in? I don't even remember what they did, other than one of them breaking that ladder with Penta. Considering how much I loved that match, that's saying something.

To be fair, they did barely anything the few years they were a tag team so I don't blame Santana for not wanting to go that route again. That being said, I won't knock the guy for taking a gamble on himself, but AEW is star studded and top heavy right now so it's going to be a huge uphill battle for him to get any kind of traction.

Yeah I know you’ve got have to faith in yourself but there’s a difference between having faith and being delusional and if he thinks he’ll be a big deal solo then he’s delusional

As a tag team they at least have a chance of regular TV time, singles wrestlers I just don't see where they fit.
There's so many ahead of them that they will just get lost in the shuffle.
Also in the future if they wanted to leave WWE would be interested in them as a tag team, not as singles wrestlers.......going the singles route is just tanking both their values.

Did they even interact at all in the stadium stampede at all in? I started that match saying they were not going to interact. And then kinda near the start of the match there was the moment they got in the ring and started doing tag moves together. After that I really can’t remember either of them doing anything but that ladder spot. But still for a minute or two of that match they somehow teamed like normal and it makes this feel even weirder to me

I wouldn't be surprised if this was just an angle and we got a match between them.
I agree that their ceiling is higher together as a tag team than as solo wrestlers though. I get that for many, being a solo wrestler is more prestigious but I don't think that's even true in AEW. Some of the most over acts in AEW are tag teams and although the division hasn't been as well-presented recently as it has in the past, you can't argue that guys like the Acclaimed, FTR, and the Young Bucks are overlooked.

Santana really has not been the same since he got a singles push in TERMINUS
And you'd think how TERMINUS went would have been a wake up call for him and his attitude but I guess not lol
If it leads to a match, then by all means, if it's two dudes shouting on social media, it's embarrassing. I can get Santana's frustrations and all, but I really don't know what he thinks his ceiling in AEW or wrestling as a whole really is outside of a tag team, and the attitude definitely isn't gonna help lol

Clearly Santana needs to lean harder on the TERMINUS stuff. Say he inherited the spaceship TERMINUS where TERMINUS matches took place, and after his rigorous recovery training he now only wrestles in TERMINUS rules matches.
His new ring name has to be Mike Santana of TERMINUS. And everyone has to say the whole thing every time.

work or not, having santana be solo instead of PnP is an awful idea It's his idea, so if it fails, well he said that's gonna be AEW's fault on socials, but in reality, it might be his I don't fault a guy for wanting to bet on himself but the dude ruining a long standing friendship over it and coming off conceded as hell since it happened just kinda sucks. I really loved PNP, and him treating it like as Ortiz said "A crutch" is disheartening If this isn't a storyline, Santana doesn't exactly set himself up as a guy you wanna root for, and this is coming off him being hurt for a year and a half, people should WANT to root for you man...

I feel like he’s damned if he does damned if he doesn’t in AEW. LAX never got the tag push they should have. They were Jericho lackeys who got big spots when Jericho’s stories demanded it. As a single he’s not going anywhere there either. But if he doesn’t want to have to be around Ortiz anymore it’s better to go nowhere alone than nowhere with him.

My thing is, I don't think anyone actively wants them to stay together if they can't stand one another But Santana taking public shots at Ortiz, if it's not a feud, does not endear him to anyone. It doesn't endear either of them to anyone to bicker on social media if it's not a plan to feud (And sometimes even then...).

Mike definitely has a higher ceiling as a tag team guy but I get wanting to give a singles run a shot before your body gets run down. And in theory you could always reunite with Ortiz although that may not be likely even in a world where these comments are likely a work.
