Chris Colt-If you don't know this is google him. Chris Colt would be a great one, even by wrestling standards his life trajectory was absolutely nuts. Also, as you alluded to, he’s a pretty niche one so it wouldn’t be a retread of something everyone already knows. Buck Zumhofe and Bob Sweetan are prime candidates for this in that what they did was incredibly dark (to put it charitably) but I also wonder if anyone who knows would be willing to talk about what they did. I would like to see more non-US/Canada ones too, Mexico has plenty of things to cover, and the demise of TV wrestling in Britain is a tale of death and deceit. One wonders how many people would actually be willing to talk about all the shit that goes on in Mexico.

The ringboy scandal one would be hard to do with Tom Cole (the whistleblower in the whole thing) being dead. It would also be a mixed bag episode imo. I for one second don't doubt Cole's allegations. He'd have no reason to lie. BUT when you look how those allegations were used with guys like Murray Hodgson, perhaps the most outspoken accuser seemingly was full of crap and a disgruntled fired employee it casts an unfair look at guy's like Cole's story.

Honestly they should do a bonus episode one season on their episode in The Plane Ride From Hell.

Ken Patera and McDonald's/assaulting police I have seen a couple shoot interviews with Ken Patera and this one still interests me a lot.

I wonder how much you could get out of a Jim Duggan episode. I mean, you've got him getting arrested with Iron Sheik and his battle with cancer, anything else that you could cover?

There’s the incident with Matt Borne. I haven’t seen his episode yet, I’m assuming they covered it. Other than that there’s stories about bar fights in Louisiana and a car accident that I believe killed his partner at the time. That’s all I’m aware of.

Ken Patera and McDonald's/assaulting police I have seen a couple shoot interviews with Ken Patera and this one still interests me a lot. The fact that he has never owned up to it after almost 40 years is astounding. As far as I know, he continues to accuse an unidentified ex-McDonald's employee of throwing the rock, and his position on the police is usually that they had it coming for entering his hotel room or some nonsense. I'd love to hear from actual cops who were there that night (although the woman whom Patera practically beat to death is no longer with us).

Katsuyori Shibata would be a good episode and for a change of pace would be one that ends on a hopeful more triumphant note.

Jim Cornette has said he once saw Hacksaw Biel Throw a guy through a bathroom door in a bar in Louisiana.

Bill DeMott's time as trainer at DSW and WWE has a lot of material potential and many candidates for talking head interviews.
Rikidozan, you'd need a lot of background on post-war Japan that the average viewer might not know.
If both are willing then the ups and downs of the Hardys.
The rise and fall (and current attempted re-rise) of CM Punk is still ongoing so might have to wait for S8 or so.
A show on gimmicks that damaged careers? Red Rooster, Shelton Benjamin as mama's boy, The Shark (John Tenta), Seven/Black Reign.

Bill would have made a great candidate a few years ago but he's redeeming himself with his campaign against drunk driving. Also, for all the bad he's done to trainees, I think he's well liked and respected by his peers so I doubt you'd find many to speak ill of him. Jim Ross would have to be conned to speak against Bill given how he compared Bill to a football line coach and also his mentor Bill Watts. LOL. Lots of old school guys have that mentality of the trainees just need to be tougher.

Jerry Lawler's 1993 legal issues (I'm sure this one will never get made while Lawler is still alive) No reason for it to be. Keep in mind that whole thing ended with the accuser admitting she lied, all to make her boyfriend jealous. There's no episode there.
deadspin.com/jerry-lawler-wrote-a-really-dumb-letter-to-prosecutors-1822790447There has long been dispute on whether she actually recanted or whether the accusers just decided not to go forward with it for whatever reason (intimidation, protecting Lawler, etc.). It's murky at best, and at the very least, it 100% resulted in Lawler being yanked off TV during a pretty big angle. It also goes hand-in-hand with the long-standing narrative that Lawler likes 'em young. There's plenty for an episode given the WTF nature of it all. It's just probably not something the DSOTR team is willing to touch, and finding anyone in the industry willing to point a finger at Lawler on camera would likely be a tough challenge.
