I am not sure if it could open season 5 or close it, but: Bray Wyatt What is "Dark Side" about his life, that it would be appropriate for this series?
even just the early death thing... it seems really too soon.

I mean, there are things that they could talk about, like his failed marriage before JoJo, his exit and return with WWE, losing Brodie, etc, but it feels like that still doesn't really fit the format of the show much, as-is, in addition to it being too soon for that kind of thing.

Macho Man had a positive Dark Side, but he had enough dark things around him like the failed marriage with Elizabeth and Elizabeth's death to make it work in the series. I don't think Bray has anything besides losing Brodie, which was not his fault at all.

I saw Billy Jack Haynes mentioned, I think that would be a great one. I'm trying to think of who is left from Portland that could offer commentary. The Grappler, Len Denton, is one. Catch him on the right day and maybe Billy himself might talk. Cornette could tell the story of how when they met him in Dallas, he was very soft spoken and gentle with everyone because the story was that he had gotten into a bar fight, the guy died, and Billy had done some time over it. That may have just been locker room talk, but the story was out there. Who else would work? I feel like I'm missing people.

Eddie is probably the most obvious one of contemporary stuff to cover.

Eddie is probably the most obvious one of contemporary stuff to cover. The Benoit one touched on his death, and if you want to discuss his demons, Eddie himself covered that ground in his documentary and autobiography. Not much new you can discuss (and with the current situation involving Vickie, I doubt the producers want to include her).

Dustin Rhodes would make a great episode. From starting in WCW to leaving to become Goldust which lead to him and Dusty becoming estranged for a while to his marriage and divorce with Terri and his drug addiction to finally cleaning himself up.

I think I'm done hearing about both for the rest of my life.

deadspin.com/jerry-lawler-wrote-a-really-dumb-letter-to-prosecutors-1822790447There has long been dispute on whether she actually recanted or whether the accusers just decided not to go forward with it for whatever reason (intimidation, protecting Lawler, etc.). It's murky at best, and at the very least, it 100% resulted in Lawler being yanked off TV during a pretty big angle. It also goes hand-in-hand with the long-standing narrative that Lawler likes 'em young. There's plenty for an episode given the WTF nature of it all. It's just probably not something the DSOTR team is willing to touch, and finding anyone in the industry willing to point a finger at Lawler on camera would likely be a tough challenge. “HI, I’m Doug Gilbert, and I got wrestling thrown off TV in Memphis.” Episode on Eddie and Doug Gilbert.

Maybe since RF Video conducted the majority of shoot interviews, so the topic never got brought up, BUT I do not remember many wrestlers discussing the Rob Feinstein incident.

Ok how about an episode on the incident that causes Louisiana to tighten the wrestling comission.
Well tighten it on small feds. Big feds can do whatever they wwant. But indies cant fight thru the crowd, cant do piledrivers or any move that causes a blow to the neck and many other restrictions.
