Roadblock actually had another equally stupid finisher.

What exactly was the second Sin Cara's finisher? He stopped using La Mistica and then he just lost forever. he wanted to use a devastating finger point but it was outlawed by the U.N. due to it being a potential world ender.

Hey now, that has to be used with care, Nash was never the same after Hogan hit him with it.

I'm just going to drop a link (can't embed because the rules) to this Roadblock vs Texas Hangman #1 match from Worldwide, because in it Roadblock actually hits his moonsaulty thing clean and it looks kinda cool.

KoKo was about 10 years ahead of his time. Him in (or at least close to) his prime would have killed it in mid/late 90's WCW/WWF That’s why I’ve never had a problem with him being in the Hall Of Fame. He may not be a big name with a lot of accomplishments, but he was an innovator. Plus Koko=Doughboy

I remember a website once listed Anarquia (yes, the one from Impact) having a Belly-to-Back Side Slam called the "Chicano U-Turn" as his finisher, but I never saw him use it at all.

The Ghostbuster was the most lethal move in the WWF. Those poor, poor jobbers were getting their necks folded. Since Koko did win more often than not on weekend shows against jobbers, you did see the Ghostbuster a lot. And the missile dropkick sometimes. I think "Birdbuster" was another WWF Magazine exclusive, it was always Ghostbuster on TV. Now I heard there was two stories behind the choice of name. First it was the 80s so of course movie reference. The other is, well, something race related and as such treading on thin ice here, I guess. About the last part: it would’ve been kind of hilarious if he only beat certain opponents with the ghostbuster, but others with the missile dropkick. And it would never be mentioned why he would spare certain jobbers from the ghostbuster. Eventually Hogan notices this, which flips Koko and he becomes a big heel, especially after he serves Hogan a meal of Frankie. I’m tired.

Did Funaki have a finisher? Couldn’t remember if he had one on the Smackdown 2 game either.

A gimmick so patently ridiculous, I naturally assumed it was inspired by the just as ridiculous Karate Kid remake that took place entirely in China, except that gimmick started about a year prior to the movie even going into production. Mind you, I'm only aware of said finisher because it was in one of the SvR games.

Oh boy I've been waiting for this thread. FEAR the recollections of the guy who used to only be able to watch the WCW jobber shows because he had DSS instead of cable and his parents always monopolized the TV in the evenings so he rarely got to watch Nitro and Thunder and never got to watch ECW Friday Nights. I used to love it when there would be a JTTS vs JTTS match because then I'd get to see a finisher I almost never saw. Roadblock's one of my Boys. Always has been. He actually used to win plenty of squash matches on the D shows like WCW Worldwide and WCW Pro. That rope-assisted moonsaulty thing usually looked better than it did in that .gif. And the fall forward slam was called the Dead End Drop. I've said before that I think if Roadblock had gotten his start in the 80s or late 70s he'd have made a good Hulk Hogan opponent. He had an inexplicably good match with Barry Darsow of all people on an episode of WCW Saturday Night. Other weird finishery things. The Gambler won the only match I ever saw him win (against Scott Studd aka Scotty Riggs) with a lariat. He clobbered Scotty right in the face with it and it looked like a real potato. Apparently he beat Dave Taylor once but I can't find the match. Jerry Flynn was an oddball because even though he was mostly a jobber, he was allowed to get offense in and have back and forth matches. He'd often go for an armbar only to have the opponent get a rope break. I had no idea it was his finisher until he submitted Ciclope with it on a Saturday Night episode once. Speaking of Ciclope, the only match I know of him directly winning in his entire WCW run was against Shiima Nobunaga (CIMA), and he won with a rocking horse hold. Lizmark Jr. did a handstand, bounce his ankles off the ropes and rebound into a standing moonsault move to get a win on Worldwide. He was in a strange spot where he was protected but never pushed. He actually had a decent win/loss record but all his wins were in trios matches and they were almost never direct wins. I can't find any record of it but I swear I remember El Dandy winning a singles match with a right haymaker. During that brief period where Silver King and El Dandy were being pushed as Los Fabulosos, they won all their matches I could find with El Dandy's La Magistral. Jobber Rick Fuller won a couple matches with a standing crescent kick. Jim Powers is another interesting one because he was like the in-house good guy who won to send crowds away happy for WCW Worldwide. His finisher was a powerslam. Sometimes he teamed with Bobby Walker and Bobby Walker used an actually pretty cool looking rope walking flying clothesline. Disorderly Conduct went on a short winning streak where their finisher turned out to be the neckbreaker/top rope double sledge combo that usually ended with the pinfall being broken by the other wrestler. The one guy who wasn't a complete no-name jobber who I couldn't find a single direct win for was Damian. According to cagematch he won a couple matches super early on when he was still Galaxy, but I couldn't find them.He got the pin in a match against Harlem Heat where he pinned Booker T with a top rope splash
